- When I upgrade my phone next, I want to switch over to the next iPhone that comes out, and get an Apple Watch to go with it. Does Apple's software have a feature in it whereby your phone can be automatically unlocked whenever it's connected to your Apple Watch via bluetooth? Extra context below.

| Posted: 15 Jun 2019 10:18 AM PDT Greetings. I think having an "Open in iPhone" option when receiving a notification would be great. Right now, for most apps, I can just read the notification and that's it. Some apps offer more... Apple news notification shows you the article's first paragraph when tapped. WhatsApp, iMessage and other chat apps let's you reply by either dictation (which is really cool), drawing letters or with a tiny keyboard. Thing is, if I have to take it up to the iPhone, there's no shortcut. There's only the option of leave the notification open, as in, DO NOT TAP OK, so when I pickup the phone, the notification is also there and I can tap it to open the app. Any thoughts? But it seems almost too good to be true. If the seller financed the watch through AT&T and became delinquent on his payments, would the watch essentially be locked to AT&T? Also, I know to pair the watch right then and there while buying used, but is there anything else I should do pre-purchase? I unpaired my Apple Watch as instructed and I am now waiting for my replacement to be shipped out. In the product description, it says you can receive texts, calls, etc, when it is connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth AND WiFi. From what I had understood, I thought just Bluetooth was enough. The person I am buying this watch for does not have WiFi at work and was wondering if Bluetooth and WiFi are both needed to receive text and calls or if just connecting to Bluetooth was sufficient. | Posted: 15 Jun 2019 08:59 PM PDT I have a Samsung Galaxy S9, and I am getting sick of Samsung and Google's shit. I have my Samsung Galaxy Watch and Samsung Galaxy S9 paired together. There's a setting in Android called Smart Lock. Whenever Smart Lock is enabled, I have the option to instantly unlock my S9 without the need for a code, face unlock or fingerprint. Today after a run I decided to take a quick dip in the pool. Was standing in shallow water, not even swimming, and after 5 minutes my watch suddenly went dark and wouldn't respond. I tried restarting and it did, then immediately crashed again and never restarted. I tried everything. Decided not to even deal with the hassle of Apple and took it to Target where it was purchased for me less then 2 week before. They simply replaced it for me, was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. I love Target, and may not swim with my Apple Watch despite Apple showing swimming in literally every series 4 commercial. [link] [comments]  | ||

Walking to my car at the mall I found an apple watch on the ground with the screen completely shattered. Not sure if there's any water damage inside. The button and wheel, housing, and back glass all seem intact. So I guess my question is what should I do now? We don't have an apple store nearby, should I turn it in to to Verizon?
