    Can't change language, some settings reset

    Out of nowhere, i noticed my macbook's language had changed to spanish, since i live in a spanish speaking country, this would be the default setting, however i want it on english, yet the system settings doesn't allow me. I have noticed that some settings reset, like natural scrolling it's turned on every time i turn on the computer, and the auto-correct turns on. Etc. However not all settings reset, my notifications stay the same, saving energy settings stay the same, and no matter what, i can't seem to put the system in english. This happened out of nowhere! i just turned on the computer and it happened, i had similar problems with the dock resetting and safari, in which i solved by deleting the .plist file and restarting the computer, however i can't seem to find a specific .plist file for settings and the one i tried to delete (named "preferences.plist") didn't work. I'm on a macbook pro 13" early 2011 running OS X Sierra 10.12.6 Thanks in advance.

    Anyone try to merge an iphone?

    I want to take the photos of both, the messages and notes of both. and put them together. My main phone is backed up to icloud, but my older phone has most of all the photos i need, and just some old text messages. I have an option to repair phone in the messages app of the old phone, but im unsure which way icloud will overwrite the other phone.

    Any advice?

    Xbox one controller buttons not working

    My iPhone X is on ios 13. I paired an xbox controller to play fortnite, but two buttons are just not working. The "back" button just left of the xbox button does not work, and clicking the right stick does not work. Both of these buttons work completely fine on my macbook pro and xbox.

    iPhone SE phone call display

    My phone is an iPhone SE, and ever since Discord got the update where it has a proper call screen like any normal phone call does, I've had this problem where if my finger is over the camera [or maybe the speaker, not sure which] the display turns black. This is a problem because I when use my phone while in a call, it sometimes gets covered and then the display turns black, and sometimes seems to just turn black randomly. Is there some way to stop this from happening?

    Tiny spider crawled into my 2015 iMac screen and died

    (iPhone X) Streaky lines have recently started appearing on my photos whenever I take pictures in low-light situations. I’ve had the phone for about a year and a half and this hasn’t happened before. Is there a fix for this or will it likely need to be serviced by Apple? Thank you.

    Can’t install iCloud Drive?

    I have an iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 12.3.1 and when I try downloading the iCloud Drive app from the App Store I see a message saying "This app requires specific features not available on this device."

    Why isn't iCloud Drive usable on my iPhone? Is there any way around it or perhaps another way to use iCloud Drive without the app?

    P.S I'm able to modify some iCloud Drive settings but it isn't the same as the app. I only chose some of what I want backed up but can't do anything more.

    Macbook air keyboard

    Hello everyone!

    I got a macbook air as a graduation present not a month ago and well... the keybaord can be very unresponsive. Some letters will not register while I am typing. I am also having issues with my caps lock, backspace and space bar keys too. It's making typing a nightmare!

    I just want to know if anyone else has been having this issue too, or is it something that is supposed to be this way?

    Spilled Tea on Macbook Pro

    I've spilled some (like %10 of a glass) of tea on my brand new macbook pro Touch Bar. The glass was standing near macbook, and actually tea didn't spill on macbook, it spilled on my desk. However it came to contact with left vent.

    ​

    Since the amount was really low, I didn't think tea got inside of macbook. I just wiped the tea near the vents and continued using the computer. However, after I have finished my work i realized there was a few drops of tea on the visible hole of vent. Everything is working fine, but I suspected that maybe some tea went inside of macbook.

    I went to a reputable unauthorized apple repair store, and asked if they can check if any tea went inside the macbook. They opened it in front of me, there was a few spots of dried tea on the plastic side of battery, also on the inner side of bottom case. He cleaned those with a solution. However we dint see anything on logic board. Liquid sensors were white (not activated). He checked logic board with a magnifier, he told me that there was a very very little corrosion, and he brushed them with a brush. No isopropyl alcohol or solution. He only used the brush.

    He told me everything is fine. However I heard that non-visible corrosion can scale up over time, and damage the logic board. I am wondering If I need to clean those areas with alcohol or something even if there is no visible corrosion and no problems with the mac itself.

    Since this macbook is really important for me, and I can't get a new one in three years if it goes bad.

    Bought the item for ~ $200 from a third party site named Lazada (Southeast Asian Amazon), I bought it from their verified Apple store but once I received the package, yes it was sealed) I received a 2nd gen airpods (https://imgur.com/gallery/Sg7jG5e) and a 1st gen charging case. Is this normal or should I return the item?

    Anti reflective coating issue

    Hi, I'm a beginner graphic designer and programmer. I'm going on vacation to USA from Argentina for 2 weeks and I have been looking to buy a 2013-2015 retina MacBook Pro(also in a budget around $700). I found a great deal on eBay for one but it had an anti reflective coating issue, as it's from late 2013 apple won't cover the repair and I won't have time for a third-party repair shop to fix it while I'm there. Also I can't trust a MacBook Pro on an Argentinian repair shop. So, is there any way I could fix it myself or do you have any tips? Thanks

    Buying a used iPad with a locked ID...

    So I am thinking about buying a used 4th Gen iPad but the ad says the Apple ID is locked. Without trying to sound like I am hacking it, is there a way to get through this or can you do a factory reset to the iPad without having access to it or should I pass on this?

    MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013) - Wont boot up unless it is fully charged.

    Oddly , it will sometimes if i open it, other times it won't. If it doesn't, the only thing that makes it work is a full charge.

    It is backed up, i'm not sure if the next time is the last time.

    Can anyone explain why I can’t download my iPad photos onto laptop. Only downloads about 20 of them and then says this error. I’ve tried manually copy and pasting but only pastes 1/3 of all pics. Tried messing about w/ settings and downloaded iCloud app for windows but still no luck Any help ?

    This isn't a support issue exactly, but I'm buying a new MacBook Pro buy next early September. There were rumors a few months back that a refreshed MBPro would be coming out in the summer, but instead of that the 8-core MBPro came out a month ago. Is this refresh still happening soon, or should I just get the current 2019 MBPro. I don't want to get a new computer just for a better version to come out weeks later. So wait or just buy it?

    I know I can call my contacts from FaceTime using FT audio, but I want to be able to call or text numbers that aren't always Apple products.

    Do you guys know the best way to sync my phone to my computer like this?

    My iPad won't charge. I use my iPad (I'm not sure on what model) A lot and have it plugged in a lot aswell but just now it stopped charging I was using a kinda broken cable so I thought it was just the cable so I plugged in my new but slow cable and nothing again (it uses lightning cable btw) so I plug it into my iPhone and it starts charging my phone. So I don't know what to do I've tried everything to get it to work any ideas?
