- Need help recovering file from a semi dead iPhone 6p
- Need help retrieving my photos from broken iphone X
- Updated apps still appear with “update” beside it on App store
- Meant to post this here... for the past couple days my iPhone SE has been randomly connecting itself to my Bluetooth headphones. The headphones don’t usually connect unless I turn them on, in which case it pairs automatically to my phone, but now my phone remotely turns them on and connects itself.
- My iPhone can't send or receive pictures from non-iPhones
- Screen keeps "jiggling"
- I got an XS yesterday. I synced and backed up my old phone and then restored the XS from that back up but only the last 28 songs I purchased went to the new phone. I tried checking the sync entire library box but it still didn’t copy the songs over. Any ideas?

Need help retrieving my photos from broken iphone X Posted: 15 May 2019 09:27 PM PDT Okay so I am stressing out a bit. A few days ago my dumb ass broke my iphone X screen. Was running and it flew put of my pocket, BOOM, my screen is ruined. Half of it is just a big bright green screen, half of it looks fine, but only a tiny section in the top left is responsive to touch now. It's only use now is being a nice expensive paper weight. I cant afford to have the screen replaced right now so I am using my girlfriends old 6S plus in the meantime. No biggie. My problem is, I had not backed it up in a long time. I have thousands of irreplacable photos that are only on that broken phone :( I tried connecting it to my laptop and backing it to icloud from there, but thats not possible as I can not type in my password and/or press "trust this computer". Is there anything I can do to get these photos, besides having the whole phone fixed? Also as a sidenote, Siri isnt working anymore either. I say "hey Siri" and nothing happens. Any help is extremely appreciated. I just need my photos they are all so priceless. [link] [comments] |
Updated apps still appear with “update” beside it on App store Posted: 15 May 2019 08:16 PM PDT I have this problem for quite some time. Basically when I update any app it updates successfully. Few days go by and I still have the same apps which was already updated still in the app store and the button next to it reads "uptade" not "open". The apps are up-to-date with the latest feature but according to app store it's not! What's the story behind that? [link] [comments] |

My iPhone can't send or receive pictures from non-iPhones Posted: 15 May 2019 12:36 PM PDT This is a very strange occurrence that has been happening to me over multiple iPhones. I cannot send or receive pictures to/from people who don't have iPhones. I usually circumvent this by using Whatsapp, which has no problems sending or receiving pictures. However, it is annoying and presumptuous of me to tell people who want to trade pictures to get that app. I have taken my phone to a few stores, but have gotten no real help or answers; the people were just as perplexed as me. What can I do to fix this annoying issue? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 May 2019 07:31 AM PDT sorry for the strange title but I don't know how to describe it other than that. And I also apologize for any mistakes and grammar errors as English is not my first language. so my problem is: from time to time (usually 1-3 times a day) my iPhone screen just goes crazy. in the video that I recorded just now, you can see, that i scroll up and then I leave my finger on the screen (which you obviously cannot see) and the screen just keeps going up and down. When this happens its hard to use my phone because its hard to scroll and also sometimes i try to click something in the upper right corner and it clicks in the lower right part for example. its like "ghost fingers" i tried solving the problem many ways: with and without screen protector, using my finger and using a touch pen to see whether it makes a difference or not (it doesn't). I changed phone (from iPhone 6s to 7 to 8) and it keeps happening. I also set up a new Apple ID and tried to sync almost nothing from the old account and/or backups. I also went to the Apple store and they did not find anything wrong with the hardware or software. I tried calibrating the screen. so my question is: die anyone know what to do or how to try to solve this problem? I am thankful for any answers. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 15 May 2019 12:30 AM PDT My iPhone 8 has recently quit vibrating, I've tried a few tricks that I've found online such as a full restore, and then trying dfu mode and following that with a restore. The weird thing is that my home button still has the normal haptic feedback, which I believe comes from the Taptic Engine, which should be responsible for all of the phones vibrating functions. I'm a bit tired currently but if my phone has a normal home button feel then shouldn't my iPhone be vibrating normally? Or is the home button feel separate from a normal text message vibration? (coming from the same hardware component in the the iPhone?) any ideas or help would be appreciated, I plan on upgrading myself to the next new iPhone that comes out and giving this one to my dad (he's on my old 5S) so I'm trying to get ahead of this vibration issue so he has a solid phone that will last him a while.
