Can I make markup more precise for filling out forms? Posted: 16 May 2019 07:14 AM PDT I have an Apple Pencil and iPad and I'm trying to fill out a PDF form, but it keeps auto-correcting the writing by rounding lines. This makes sense for general doodling on a document, but I'm trying to fill out a form and my "e" gets rounded and looks like a "c" or when I write an "n" it shortens one of the legs. Is there a setting to adjust the extent it rounds everything? [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 May 2019 04:14 AM PDT So I've just got a new car with CarPlay (yay) and I'vereally enjoyed using it, its such a step up being able to easily navigate the music app/wave on the screen, and talk to Siri, rather than haphazardly poke my phone with my finger between steering/changing gear, and yelling so Siri can hear me. But! (there's always a but) I noticed something interesting today. If you have Music Streaming turned off while using mobile data (I get 4GB a month) Siri cant play a specific song, playlists? No worry, but if I want to play "Supermassive Black Hole" Siri comes back with "Looks like you're not on Wifi, you can change this in the settings app" even though said song is in my library, downloaded. It seems a bit stupid that if you have streaming turned off, Siri cant operate your music library at all (save for playlists), rather than just be limited to your local library and come back with "Sorry, that song isn't downloaded" if you ask for a song you don't have on your phone. Furthermore, if I turn streaming on, then ask for a song (Let's say Bohemian Rhapsody), Siri/iOS decides to stream it from an album I don't have downloaded, rather than opting to save my data and play the local version. I cant help thinking what happens if you don't have Apple Music and try this, as streaming wouldn't be an option. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2019 06:08 PM PDT Is it possible to remove/hide shows and movies from the TV library in iOS? I have a bunch of old ones from years ago that I downloaded for free as Starbucks giveaways etc. but I'm tired of seeing them every time I browse my library. They aren't downloaded, so I don't mean delete them - I just don't want them to show at all. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Question about the Move to iOS app Posted: 15 May 2019 11:31 PM PDT I currently have a Note 8, but I'll be purchasing a new iPhone. I've had an iPhone in the past so I have data in my iCloud. When I use the Move to iOS app, will it completely overwrite my current iCloud data? Or will it merge the data currently on my Note 8 with what's in my iCloud? Thanks [link] [comments]

Text "flickering" when typing? Posted: 15 May 2019 09:13 AM PDT Updated to 12.3 shortly after it was released and have noticed the text flicker often when typing/texting. Has anyone else noticed this? Not a serious issue, but seems like it shouldn't be. [link] [comments]
Anyone noticed airplay stuff stopping early? Posted: 15 May 2019 07:29 PM PDT I've had this happen three times today. First two were a couple YouTube videos that stopped early when I was watching on my Apple TV, airplayed from my phone, then, just now, while airplaying to one of my airport expresses, a song stopped about 3/4 through, and when I looked at Apple Music, it looked like it had finished the song. I definitely didn't have this problem before the most recent update. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2019 05:17 PM PDT Im sure this reddit is completely over flooded with this but so far, i have found nothing that works. My phone (6s+) is only 16 gbs, and 10 of those are being used being taken up by the "system". i normally wouldn't complain but 6 gbs is nothing nowadays, plus, anytime i delete something to clear up some space, the system swoops in and right away takes up all the newly freed space. any ideas? Heavy users of the Drop app, how has your experience been? Posted: 15 May 2019 04:17 PM PDT Do you spend a lot on brands, retail and rewards cards that are linked to your account? Does it take too long to make a decent passive income or do you need to put down a lot more expenses than you need to for the average week/month? [link] [comments]
iPhone keeps connecting to Bluetooth device unexpectedly Posted: 15 May 2019 03:06 PM PDT Since yesterday (or maybe the day before?) I've noticed an issue where my volume (iPhone SE) drops to nothing. Well, the display says it's up, but I can't hear anything. Last night I discovered that what was actually happening is that it was connecting to my Bluetooth headphones on the other side of my room (too far away for me to hear it). There seems to be no required stimulus for this to happen, it just connects automatically at random. I can manually turn off the headphones, although they were already off before my phone somehow turned them on... Upgrading to 12.3 this morning seemed to make the problem go away for most of the day, up until an hour ago. I could just remove the headphones from my phone's list of recognized devices, but since I use them every day that seems like more hassle than it's worth. So the only solution I've been able to think of is simply disabling all Bluetooth on my phone for the time being. Has anyone else encountered a problem like this, and/or does anyone have an idea for an actual solution? [link] [comments]
I found a fix for the d.o.n.t. error Posted: 15 May 2019 12:58 PM PDT Idk if people already posted this but if you delete every message with the misspelling in it autocorrect forgets it. You just have to go into imessage and search for d.o.n.t. and then delete all of those messages. It takes a long time. [link] [comments] |
