Posted: 15 May 2019 07:30 AM PDT Hey everyone! I released my application, 'uNotifs: Custom Notifications' onto the App Store about a year ago. Over this period of time I've updated and changed it a lot. I've been looking around for more feedback or criticism regarding it. I made a post here about a year ago and have been able to implement a lot more cool features into the app since then due to the amount of feedback I received. I'd appreciate it if you guys could try out my app and let me know what you'd like to see added/changed/fixed/etc or if you have any criticism or dislikes regarding it. Thanks! Posted: 15 May 2019 05:01 AM PDT I have been an avid Waze user for the last five years. The reason being, I work in Chicago and it has always been touted as the best navigation app that finds all the alternative routes to get where you need to go and very quick rerouting navigation update. As I've become more hands-free, Waze continues to be difficult to integrate the iOS ecosystem, which I completely understand since it's owned by Google. Therefore, has anyone had any experience regarding re-routing through iOS maps? The reason why I chose Waze over Google, is that when traveling to and from Chicago, Waze will tell you to get in local or express lanes and also take you to very off the charts scenic routes which ultimately is faster and takes you away from the traffic. Google maps just never did that. Does iOS maps do something similar word has anyone had any experience with that? [link] [comments]

Changing unlock animation in iOS 11/12 Posted: 15 May 2019 04:00 AM PDT Any way to change the animation of the screen sliding up when unlocking without jailbreaking ? It's quite jarring & stressful to look at, especially on a smaller phone. Turning on " Reduce motion " doesn't help. Thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2019 05:13 AM PDT Is there a possibility for me to go down from 12.3 to 12.1.2? I've been having battery issues on my 6S since I upgraded from 12.1.2 to 12.2 and it just got worse in 12.3. Is there anyway I can roll back? Even when I'm typing I'm losing power even if it's plugged into a power outlet. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 May 2019 08:13 PM PDT Formatting issues, on mobile So, I still keep my old 5S, and I had a random thought about it. Back when it ran iOS 8, Siri would act annoyed at me for saying stuff repeatedly, insults, and actually had some funny responses. Now, low and behold, nope, just the same formal responses, no annoyance, almost to a point where just says "that's not nice" to an insult, where she used to be much more dramatic about it. My friend actually told me today that Siri used to say the hardware of the iPhone or a slightly older one (I'm not sure) when you asked what she was wearing. Now Siri just says what she had yesterday. All of this is kind of a bummer isn't it? [link] [comments]
Pokémon go not working on 12.1.1 b3 Posted: 15 May 2019 04:51 AM PDT I can open and play Pokémon go from time to time but after a few minutes an error message will pop up and lock me out saying it's not compatible with the os or device, for the record I'm using an iPhone X [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2019 04:44 AM PDT I've come across people saying that you should delete the Facebook app and use the website. They make allegations such as battery drain etc. I've never experienced that; however, this last update had happened on May 11, since then my phone battery has been dying very quickly. Now, I don't use background app refresh for the Facebook app; nor do I use the app until evening. I guess I'm reaching out to inquire, does anybody have any hard factual data other stuff is impacting a phone or does Facebook do anything in the background of your phone even when you had background app refresh off and the app closed? I'm looking for some reputable back up to all these allegations. [link] [comments]

Is there a way to change title of a picture in Photos on iPad like macOS? Posted: 14 May 2019 09:16 PM PDT I can't seem to find a way to do this. I feel like its such a simple thing. If you can change tags and descriptions and all sorts of info on macOS, why can't we access that same data on iPad? I'd say its pretty important sometimes when I'm editing pictures on my iPad (the pencil is fun to use to edit sometimes). I like titling my final edits so I can find them later. I like curating an album of my work with custom titles and the metadata intact to share with friends. The iPad seems to be limited in this regard. [link] [comments]
Will the iPhone 6 get iOS 13? is there any hope? Posted: 15 May 2019 02:22 AM PDT My uncle is handing me down his iPhone 6 but i heard it won't be supported for iOS 13, i'm using a 2016 budget android phone. Should i take the iPhone 6, will it get iOS 13? or will it be usable for atleast 2 years without any updates? [link] [comments]
Am I missing something with the Alarm? Posted: 14 May 2019 07:56 PM PDT This seems ridiculous that I feel like I must be missing something. I have an iPad and I use the alarm on it. When I go to bed I want to turn off the volume of all notifications, yet still have the alarm loud n clear so that I wake up. Android has this, because duh. It's a simple feature that I feel like everyone must want. Turn down volume, right before everything silent ought to be everything but Alarm....why can't I find a setting such as this... Posted: 14 May 2019 07:29 PM PDT Since updating to iOS 12.3 last night, I have been having very slow downloads from the App Store. I restored the phone as new with a DFU restore. All other aspects of WiFi like safari is completely fine and fast like it should be. I tried a reset network settings with no luck. Any ideas on why this is happening? [link] [comments] |
