Posted: 05 Apr 2019 02:09 PM PDT I am in the market for a MacBook Pro, most likely the 15" model with souped up hardware, but I am very unsure if I should just buy or hold out because I feel like they will come out with a newer model sometime within the year that fixes and improves things. For instance, I hate the touchbar and know a lot of people do so I feel like they may have an option without it again. Should I hold out til this Fall maybe, or just bite the bullet and buy now? | Good deal on MBP, but 128 Gb SSD Posted: 05 Apr 2019 09:19 PM PDT I can pick up a secondhand 13" 2017 MBP for $600, but my main worry is the 128 SSD, which I think isn't upgradable? I'd be using it mainly for the Adobe design suite. I'd be fine with storing my projects on external storage / backup on the cloud. I might also be using it for some app development, and I know Xcode takes up a ton of space. Are there extra storage solutions I should be looking into, or am I pretty much screwed if my all my apps don't fit onto 128 Gb? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 05 Apr 2019 03:45 AM PDT First thing I'm planning is to open it up, giving it a good clean, and putting in some new thermal paste. Other then that ,how can I get the most out it? | First time Mac User Safari question Posted: 05 Apr 2019 08:07 AM PDT Hello, I bought a 2018 Macbook Pro with touch bar yesterday. I've never used mac so it's been a struggle so far. 1) inside of Safari I saw you can add favicons to your tabs which I turned on. Is there anyway to get a favicon added to the favorites bar? 2)Looks like Github for mac doesn't actually install? On PC it does an install but on Mac it seems like it just runs. Is that normal for apps on Mac? Maybe I'm just doing it wrong? Caused an issue when trying to import my unity project. Github couldn't find Git on my PC even though I had the github desktop running. I highly doubt it was manufactured after they started lengthening the display ribbon cable so I'm just wondering if its a good idea to return it whilst we can? [link] [comments]  |
