    iOS 13 should bring support for multiple audio/video streams

    In the age of live streams, Let's Plays, and music streaming, being able to keep multiple media streams going at the same time has become the norm on desktop computers, and yet iOS devices still pause background audio when you start watching a video.

    Besides allowing users to watch silent live streams while listening to other audio, developers of audio apps could use the more robust system for more complex audio workflows as well like creating podcasts with FaceTime (to talk with more people) and the Podcasts app.

    I think that 2 streams simultaniously should be the max on iOS and tvOS though because otherwise it would be to cluttered..

    Random videos don't show the video length in my gallery

    Is this just me or someone else has experienced this before? I'm on 12.2.

    They play like a normal video when I open them. I literally have two videos side by side with only one that shows the video duration in the thumbnail of gallery.

    Update: all new videos that I take do not show a duration.

    Update2: after removing the gallery app from memory and opening the app again; now all videos have the duration in the thumbnail. Weird...

    Safari on iOS and macOS should always use the default video player and get the feature to send video’s from device to device via Handoff

    I think it would be way better to use the default video player on iOS and macOS, It's most of the times much better. it would also make new continuity features possible. I would love to send a video I'm watching on my iPhone to my Apple TV and vica versa.

    Let say you are watching a YouTube video on safari on your MacBook, you can continue playing the video on another device the same way you already do with Handoff.

    iPhone X crashes frequently

    It actually began right after the iOS 12 update. My phone would crash randomly either when being used or not. I tried all possible ways to reset it, even a DFU reset, but the problem remains.

    Eventually I brought it to the Apple store and have it checked out. The genius said there was no hardware issues and it was caused the software. He asked me to use my phone without restoring it from a backup which might fix the issue. However i really don't want to do since it is so inconvenient.

    Now my all my messages (both iMessages and texts) just randomly disappear completely.

    Has anyone ever encounter similar problems like this?

    P.S. I know there is Smart Invert option, but i have a quesion. Does Smart Invert "not burning" display like a normal white mode?

    Have a question regarding iCloud Storage plans

    I currently have a broken iPhone that needs to be backed up through iCloud and I currently cannot access the phone, so with buying around 200 GB of iCloud storage on a different device, does that iCloud storage carry over since its apart of the same account? Thanks!

    Request/help. Keyboard and detecting what keys are pressed. Is there a keyboard that can be taught that what was intended was not what it gave?

    I often times will have issues with the default keyboard and it thinking i pressed space bar when i mean to press c, v, b,or n. Its quite annoying because it will result in words being misspelled or not recognized.

    reault was what it thought i typed in for result, three times it would not recognize i had hit the s key.

    This is not a phone issue, i had the iphone 6 with the same issues. Its the fact the keyboard cant be trained :/

    Twitter app no longer grouping notifications by username.

    So twitter used to group notifications by who tweeted(ex. 4 tweets from Chris Hayes are grouped together, 3 tweets from Matt Fuller are grouped together, etc. ) now they are lumped together in one notification. This change happened recently but I'm not sure exactly when. Is this a change twitter made or is there something wrong on my phones end?

    An app to change canvas size, resize photo on canvas, and fill background

    Hello,

    I've tried a half dozen apps and can't seem to find anything that does what I'm looking for:

    • Take landscape photo, fit it onto portrait, and fill device screen. (Only found apps that do square)
    • Fill the rest of the canvas with a blurred depiction of the photo. (Only found apps that do a square)
    • Reposition photos on canvas on a slant/diagonal to make a collage that isn't pre-formed or boxy.

    Essentially, it's making different size photos fit a portrait crop ratio to be used as iPhone wallpaper. Most of the apps I've found do some or all of the above, but mainly force a square photo to fit portrait and don't give the flexibility to use a 9:16 aspect ratio photo on a larger canvas size of 16:9 to fit the entire photo, while filling the background.

    Something similar to this, but with the source photo being landscape and fit to portrait. Notice the background blur to fill in the canvas. Bonus points if it can reposition the photos so they can be on an angle on the canvas.
