You can now purchase AppleCare+ without contacting Apple with iOS 12.2 Posted: 02 Apr 2019 06:33 PM PDT With iOS 12.2 Apple added the ability to see your AppleCare+ coverage in the About section in the Settings app. I recently had an express replacement done for my device, and the coverage usually doesn't transfer over to the replacement until the previous device has been returned, so I only saw the limited warranty information for this device. However, when I opened it, I had the option to buy. This means not only do you not have to go to an Apple Store to get coverage, you don't even need to call in anymore. Can anyone confirm if this also extends to a recently purchased Mac? [link] [comments] |

how the hell is the iphone 8 so fast even with such little ram Posted: 02 Apr 2019 03:02 AM PDT i have the regular iphone 8 which only has 2 gb of ram. most flagships nowadays have at least 4gb of ram, and some have 8gb or more. yet my iphone 8 is always lightning fast, and i've had it for almost a year now. my old galaxy s6 has 3 gb of ram, and its super slow, but that might be because its super old and really broken and water damaged. i dont know, but the iphone 8 being this fast is so weird to me.
