How do you turn off autofill login?

    Posted: 30 Mar 2019 01:19 PM PDT

Updated my iMac to the latest version 10.14.4. The new update automatically signs me into a website while using autofill. Usually when I use autofill it inputs the user name and password but now it also logs me in without manually doing so. Is there anyway to turn this function off?

Recover Files After MacOs Reinstallation? Is it possible?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 01:09 AM PDT

I deleted and Reinstalled Mojave on my Mac only to realize some of my photos where not backed up. When I do a deep scan with disk drill and Data Rescue I get gibberish. Worse thing I can't find my emails or iTunes backup folder.

Any Label Data Recovery App I can use? Is it even possible to recover the files?

Native Reddit app (El Capitan, perhaps?)

    Posted: 30 Mar 2019 07:33 PM PDT

Have been trying with little success to find a Reddit app on the Mac App Store that doesn't require 10.12 (as my 10-yr-old iMac can't upgrade to Sierra)

So, does one exist? Or did it never exist?

2012 Mac Mini ? Mark Screen and Worse

    Posted: 30 Mar 2019 11:01 PM PDT

I bought this 2012 Mac Mini off of eBay. It only shows the question mark folder screen. I tried rebooting into recovery mode and reinstalling the OS only to find there's no drive visible. Other posts show that this could mean that the hard drive is damaged. Is there any other possible explanation? The device only has a few scuff marks and nothing sounds out of place. I just can't boot or use the darn thing. I tried to erase using disk utility and reformat the drive but there is no drive visible in the disk utility menu only macOS base system. The drive is supposed to be 500 gb and it doesn't seem like its even there.

    File Icon Cache

    Posted: 30 Mar 2019 08:45 AM PDT

Hi All - have a quick question. I create custom icon images for folders & files for quicker browsing, but noticed that since 10.12-ish, it doesn't "remember" these anymore, so each time I go into a folder it sits there spinning for a while recreating them each time - really annoying. Is there some setting or configuration I can set for OSX to remember these (cache them)?

    delete iCloud Keychain

    Posted: 30 Mar 2019 01:37 PM PDT

    Hello,

I have tried to delete my keychain, but I found no option for that. I have googled a bit and found this:

    1. disable iCloud Keychain
    2. Log out of iCloud
    3. reboot
    4. Log in to iCloud and choose "use SMS Verification"
    5. say Reset iCloud Keychain (without entering the code)

And here is the problem, I use two factor authentication - I dont get a promt for SMS Code.

Something strange happen with the keychain. I reinstalled my mac, then I joined my Meraki MDM with forbid Keychain Policy, reboot. After that i logged in iCloud and in my keychain.app are objects not from me - from my iCloud Keychain. But i do not want my stuff in Cloud. How do I delete this s*** complete( Local and cloud)?

iCloud backup of multiple MBPs but keeping Backups seperate?

    Posted: 30 Mar 2019 05:17 AM PDT

    Hi,

I own three MBPs. One for work. One I use for producing music and an old one for surfing the web. I want them all to be backed up to iCloud. But I need to keep the Desktop & Documents folders separated. Is this possible? Before I turn this on on every mac I wanted to make sure this works. I don't want to have 1.5TB of audio from my music mac on my work mac or my surf mac which has only like 200GB space anyway. And I don't want to have a bunch of GB of source code on my music mac.

    Thanks for help.

    Cheers,

    Stefan
