    anyone know of any good apps that can replace like a daily planner for school? I converted from textbooks to ebooks and take all my notes on my iPad pro but the last thing I am missing is a replacement for my daily planner to keep track of my HW please help.

    Swapped Mac and iPhone for iPad Pro

    Hi all!

    In a crazy attempt to simplify my workflow, and be as absolutely minimalist as possible, I sold my MBP 15" (with the core i9) and iPhone XS Max for the iPad Pro. I truly believe I can replace my MacBook Pro with this guy and I used iPad 9.7" previously instead of a phone to save money in the past and actually really liked it. I was more attentive to my surroundings, I was less stressed and distracted and I had the option to read on the go with the fantastic battery life. I've been really excited getting used to the iPad again.

    So here's my questions for Mac replacement: -What do you guys suggest for photo editing? I was previously using Adobe Camera Raw with Photoshop, and that was quite easy to use. Lightroom seems close, but I'm not a fan at all of subscriptions. Any suggestions to purchase software once and done?

    -What is your favorite wireless connector for connecting external storage? Preferably under $75.

    Questions for iPhone replacement: -it's a cellular iPad with unlimited data, and I've used Hangouts in the past and that worked quite well for calling and texting. But this is, sadly, going away. What would you use for free calling? -I do not use Facebook or other social media beyond Instagram and Reddit, but I'm finding that the IG app on iPad just sucks, of course. Any suggestions for alternative ways to work with IG? -Any apps that you would say are just a MUST HAVE for full time iPad-ing? Accessories beyond a case and Apple Pencil?

    Ipad 6th generation wifi issue.

    So I recently got an Ipad 6th generation for school use, but I've been noticing that when I lock the screen and leave it idle for a few hours, the Ipad disconnects from the wifi network. I've tried all the basic steps like resetting network settings etc...but nothing has worked out. I also don't believe its an issue with the network since my Android phone stays connected all the time. Someone please advise me. Thanks.

    Im looking to get some sort of entry graphics tablet with a screen. I need a new graphics tablet cause im currently using a 2009 genius mouse pen. Ive been trying my dads old samsung with s pen and liked it but no good software options.. Im considering an ipad and pencil because it can run apps like paintstorm studio and clip studio that i use on pc. And it can connect with pc with easy canvas or astropad if I dual boot hackintosh. The other options im considering are gaomonPD1560 and xp pen wich are bigger but bound to my tower. But at a similar price.

    Anyways I was wondering how well i pad6 runs art programs to figure out if the portability will be worth the small screen. Cause if all I can do is sketch anyways then id just use medibang on my dads old samsung and get something like the Gaomon.

    iPad Air 2 WiFi issue

    Hello guys, Recently I'm coming across an issue with my iPad Air 2 as it restarts itself randomly upon unlocking. After the restart the WiFi toggle in the Settings menu is greyed out and I can't turn it on. I have to reset network settings in order to make it work again. It restarts itself randomly when locked as well. I've updated it to the latest version of the OS, I've reset it as new device, nothing seams to work. It has happened in the past and replacing the WiFi module solved the issue so I went ahead and did it again unfortunately this time with no success. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

    Questions RE: Brydge Keyboard for 10.5 IPP

    Hey folks. Two questions about the Brydge Keyboard for the 10.5 inch iPad Pro. First off - has anyone used it? It looks absolutely phenomenal but I want to hear other people's experiences. Does the iPad detach and re-attach very easily? I like to use my iPad "naked" and just clip it into its smart keyboard when i need to type or prop it up. I probably attach and detach my smart keyboard like 50 times a day which is super easy with magnets. Second question: does anyone know if I can buy this in stores anywhere in Canada? or only online?

    Best place to sell iPad 11/Keyboard? Want to get the 12.9

    So, after using my iPad 11 for the past 2 months, I wish I would have gotten the new 12.9. Coming from the 10.5 I think that would of felt like a real upgrade. Don't get me wrong, I love this device, but I should have gotten the larger iPad. With that said, in your experience, where should I seek this device at along with the keyboard. It's only 2 months old, in perfect condition,with screen protector on. Trying to get the most bank for my buck to put towards the larger iPad. Thanks!

    Any one know if you can live draw on video on ipadpro for an edit effect?

    Ill try and explain it better.

    Right now I create videos where sometimes I add crudely drawn overlays (think of Madden drawing on football replays)

    To keep it simple rather than doing it in after effects I just draw in Photoshop while using screen capture. then I resize and overlay that drawing into the edit.

    I was thinking if their was a way to draw on the video as it plays it would speed up my workflow.

    Looking for a way to use my iPad pro as a sort of portable Apple TV

    I travel a lot and want to be able to use Netflix and other streaming services that let you download movies for offline play on the hotels TV with my iPad, while using my iPhone as a remote so I wouldn't have to bring another device along with me. Is there a way to do this? Seeing as the new iPad pro now has USB C allowing it to connect to HDMI outputs it seems like this isn't all to crazy of an idea.

    I am planning to buy 2 Apple Pencils if there was a sale or something. I am aware of the case where Apple Pencil can be "dead" if they are left uncharged for a very long time.
    So, I just want to know if the Pencil will still be usable after months being kept in the box (sealed). Or do I need to charge both every few days? If yes, is it possible to connect 2 Pencils to an iPad so I can alternate those two if needed?

    I have a long outline I got for a certification exam with many many hyperlinks. I am looking for a way to take notes (preferably handwritten) and link them to the specific hyperlinks.

    So for example, if the outline is:

    A. Topic

    1. Area
    2. Other Area

    I would like to either insert notes in between the "Area" sections or have notes on the side that link to the Area sections. Any idea if this is doable?

    iPad Pro 11 inch will not charge or turn on.

    So my iPad Pro 11 inch which is 13 days old has suddenly died on me.

    I got home, took it out of my bag and it was extremely hot and dead.

    I have multiple chargers and my Macbook charger which I have tried to use to power it back on, but no matter what it simply will not charge - I've had it plugged in for around 1h30min now.

    Any ideas as to what this could be?

    I purchased the iPad while abroad so I can't take it back to the original store, but local stores shouldn't have a problem replacing it - but I do have some work on there that I haven't backed up yet, so I'd love to get it working again.

    iPad mini 4 on current iOS

    I found a reasonably priced iPad mini 4 - love the appeal of the size for what I would use it for. But does anyone currently have one and use it with the current iOS? I know its older than the other iPad models and was wondering how it holds up with the current software

    External music?

    Have the iPad Pro 11in and I have around 2000 songs I'm wanting to fit on a 64gb model, which leaves no room for much else. Is there a possible to run my music of a external ssd for good speeds and also keeping the quality of sound and multitask. Probably asking for to much but damn apple needs to add capability for things like this, a stand alone usb c and lighting for storage. I'd pay a pretty penny for that.
