JackQuest was out on Switch and now its coming to iOS

    Posted: 03 Feb 2019 05:39 AM PST

This is my first game ever! It's a pretty challenging infinite climber where you need to avoid mines, dodge missiles and outrun lava to climb as high as you can! I'd love to hear what you guys think and also suggest some new ball ideas I can add in the next update for it :)

Choice-based game: Romance Club (name is super misleading)

    Posted: 03 Feb 2019 04:57 AM PST

Hello, I am a big fan of choice-based story games for mobile, and I have recently discovered a new one, made by a small studio based in Moldova. I think it's really great, and although the name 'Romance Club' makes it sound like it's going to be trashy and cheesy, it is actually very good and not trashy at all. The art is amazing, the stories are full of adventure and the plots complicated and interesting. The romance part is actually not that prominent, the name of the app is super misleading. It seems that not many people are playing this game for now (they only have 2k followers on facebook) but it's a real shame because I think it's so good, so much better than many other similar games that are way more popular. Downsides to it are that it only updates once a month (but with a lot of content), that the English version is not always grammatically perfect (but they are getting better) and another thing is that you can only play as a female character (but you can romance girls if you want, although as I said, romance is not really a big part of the game). I am always looking for people to discuss the game with, so if anyone fancies give it a go and then come to the r/romanceclub subreddit to discuss it with other fans, I'd be super happy :)

    Best time management games?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2019 07:38 PM PST

Mainly these seem to be cooking games where you make orders in a kitchen and things get hectic. Any suggestions for others?

I really like Kitchen Diary and Cooking Fever right now. Anything else fun?

Can somebody help me find an old runner game?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2019 05:06 PM PST

Hello, I am trying to remember the name of an auto runner which played a bit like Rayman. I can't remember how many years ago it was.

The game was a boy in a robot suit and once you beat a set of levels you got an upgrade/new ability. You could jump, slide, shoot etc. You killed aliens I believe ?

Each level used to say 3,2,1 Go! As they started. It was a cartoonish art style.

(I think it was a premium game).

If anybody could help, I tried Google but I couldn't even see a screenshot with what I have searched so far. (And it's making me go insane looking, been at it a good few hours now).

Best iPad optimized apps and accessories

    Posted: 02 Feb 2019 08:01 PM PST

I recently got an iPad (2018, 9.7" not pro) and want to know your recommendations for good iPad apps and accessories.

For apps, I have Darkest Dungeon, FTL, CIV VI, and Rome Total War already, but would love suggestions. I like RPGs, shooters, roguelikes, strategy games, and really would like any advice. I do have an iPhone for now, and any cross play would be nice.

As for accessories, I am looking for a good controller as well as any other essentials. I have my eye on the Gamevice G150 so I don't need to set the iPad down, but I'm open to all suggestions.
