(Im currently using an SE and am suffering from extremely poor battery performance, storage space, and general freezing and crashes.) Both the SE and XR would be major improvements on this phone but, seeing as they are both the same price, I don't know which to get. I love the size, screen, and build quality of the X but does XR's performance make it a better pick. Not sure about that screen...and those bezels...let me know what you think. I had a screen protector and a Iphone Case on it. Tomorrow I have an appointment at my local apple store. My screen doesnt have any cracks. I don't have AppleCare, but my Phone is not 2 years old. | Posted: 03 Feb 2019 04:58 AM PST Recently, I noticed an increasing trend that when you download an app, you can only see a sign up page where you're required to sign up for an account using an existing email or Facebook/Twitter before you can access the app's features. I thought apps were supposed to be native applications on your iPhone, and hence, data is linked to and stored locally on your phone's memory. We should be able to access all the app's functionality without signing up and having our personal details on some database, which is outside Apple's control regarding user/data privacy. An app is not supposed to be a portal for online content - that's what Safari is for. All apps should have the option of local storage as default, with cloud based accounts optional. Posted: 03 Feb 2019 09:39 AM PST Mine is at 100% but that's typical because I have an XS Max that I got not too long ago, however I've heard and seen many people with lower than 100% capacity on their phone which included an XR. My personal charging practices include charging the phone when it's around 16-20% and no lower, and charging it all the way up to 87%, I'm unsure whether that's fine or bad for the actual battery, maybe someone can light this info to my head. Maybe it's not an issue at all with the phone. I find that I have to click links/buttons in apps and Safari at least twice (usually the second click gets it) before it works. | Pop on speakers when playing YouTube. Posted: 03 Feb 2019 09:24 AM PST Title. Whenever I open or close a video on YouTube using the speakers it makes an audible POP sound. It doesn't happen with Music or Netflix. I'm not very sure if it's present with audio messages, but YouTube is the main problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Latest iOS btw.
