    I've always missed the whole skeuomorphic theme before iOS 7, and while we might not be getting a major design overhaul, some small elements of depth/skeuomorphic design would be a welcoming change. It'd also bring back that good old iOS 6 nostalgia. Here's just a concept of mine for the Wallet app.

    Anyone else started to get a flicker at the bottom of their screen?

    This only seems to have started occuring, and will go away if I lower the brightness.

    Essentially the brighter my phone is - the taller the flicker at the bottom of my screen gets. And the flicker looks to be a duplicate of whatever is at the top of my screen if that makes sense. So if I have my brightness just up slightly, I'll see the time/battery indicator etc appear at the bottom of my screen.

    I've searched multiple places; some say it started with the latest iOS update, some say it could be software, some say it could be hardware (although - due to the way ti reacts, I'm inclined to say software).

    Anyone had this issue and/or fixed it?

    Passcode screen briefly showed with Chinese Characters?

    Last night I went to unlock my phone and for a split second before it recognized my thumbprint I saw the passcode screen with all the text displayed in red Chinese characters. I can't reproduce it. Has anyone else ever had a similar experience?

    Why Does Spotlight Only Search Half of What I Type?

    Hey guys, so I'm a recent convert from android. One of the biggest things I miss is the ability to quickly google something by use of the google search bar widget (or default implementation on the Pixel launchers). I figured the natural equivalent on iOS would be the spotlight search.

    However, I've found that the spotlight search for some reason only decides to search for half of what I type in the bar. For example, if I type "How to Make An Omelette Like Gordon Ramsey", it will only search "How to Make An Ome". For some reason the search randomly just gets cut off.

    Any ideas why or what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help guys! You rock!

    Holiday Calendar in "Passwords & Accounts" anyone know how to delete that

    When I enter "Passwords & Accounts" -> "Fetch New Data" I see this "Holiday Calendar".

    I suspect that this is something I added back awhile ago, when was looking for apple-own holiday calendars, but didn't find for my country and delete.

    ​

    Though, I didn't now go away from "Fetch New Data" section.

    ​

    Anyone how to clean that up?

    update: just checked another iPhone, which has pretty basic config, and it does have that "Holiday Calendar" like mine, so it's by default i guess.

    Podcast app crashed and said it needed to rebuild library now no podcasts showing but still downloaded

    It looks like the rebuild library didn't work and now it doesn't see the podcasts that are downloaded but they're all taking up space. How would I fix this?

    Anyone else facing the issue whereby Wifi auto-disconnects once the screen is locked?

    It started happening recently around a week ago whereby wifi would automatically disconnect once I lock the screen.

    I'm on the latest iOS version too. iPhone X 2017.

    When I store my accounts and passwords in the “Accounts & Passwords” settings panel for use with Mail and Calendar, is my username/password (e.g., for a Google account) stored by apple anywhere outside of my phone?

    A couple months ago on a random day most of my contacts got duplicated twice. So I have 3 copies of each contact. But this didn't happen to every contact, just most of them. Is there any efficient way to delete all this duplicates without going through each one manually?

    After you pay a 1000 dollars for a device I think you should have control over what version you want to install especially after the signal issues on the first version of iOS 12.1.2 and the Group Facetime bug. Just waiting for EU to fine them again
