    AirPlay 2 TV integration means that even this $200 40” 1080p Vizio will get AirPlay 2 via an update. (Accord to Vizio, assuming they follow through) Can’t wait to find this on sale!

    Weird “beeping” notification this morning? Long shot question...

    I know this is a long shot, but here is how it went down...

    Driving to work, iPhone XS connected via bluetooth to a little bluetooth receiver wired into the head unit. Listening to an audio book on Audible.

    Out of the blue, I get this very morse-code-sounding sequence of beeps. I'm nearly 100% sure it was coming out of the speakers, and not out of my iPhone or my Apple Watch (especially because the watch wasn't vibrating either). It only lasted like 2-3 seconds. Also, my ring/silent switch on the side of the phone was off.

    It was so weird I pulled over to check my devices for notifications and none of them had anything within the last 10 minutes or so.

    Does anyone have a guess of what it might be? It was definitely not the car, I've been driving it for a long time and none of the idiot lights were on, plus the morse code definitely was not just evenly spaced beeps like the car will make when trying to get you to notice something.

    Cross-posting this to see if anyone has an idea of what it might be!

    Odd xfinitywifi log in issue

    Hey guys, so long story short I had some older iPhone 6's by boost laying around. I was going to give them to my nephews so they can just play games on so I updated them to iOS 12.1.3. When I'm trying to connect to xfinitywifi it is supposed to direct me to their login page. On one that happens, on the second I keep getting a "wifilogin.xfinity.com" certificate with the option to trust it. Any reason this is popping up on one and not the other? Both are clean installs with no iCloud accounts or any apple IDs attached.

    This message suddenly showed up yesterday, clicked “not now” cus I had no idea what it was and then my entire photo library of 5k started disappearing till it only kept 50 pics now. Any idea what’s going on and how to recover my library?

    ios 11 phone can’t connect to the app store

    Definitely have wifi as I just posted this from the phone, it says the apple store server is up and running, my date and time is set to automatic, I tried restarting my phone, nothing is working.

    I also have 2 apple IDs on this one, I tried signing out of both, and resigning back in. Interestingly enough, I can sign in on apple id #1 for the entire phone like icloud and stuff, but I'm not able to sign it in for the app store. It says "there was a problem connecting to the server" Apple id #2 can sign in to the app store, but I still can't actually open the app store. #1 doesn't let me sign in at all. Help please?

    (my) Outlook app finally updated

    3.8.1. Updated yesterday but for whatever reason visually changed only today.

    Just a blue (smaller) bar up to. No other changes. Not sure why we had to wait months for it....

    IOS Update Loop

    Hi,

    On both my iPhone and iPad I am having an App Store problem. Every time I update some apps and then refresh the App Store, it asks me to update them again. This keeps happening in a loop.

    I tried a whole slew of things, resetting my devices, logging out of iCloud, etc.

    Anyone having a similar problem?

    iOS 12.2 beta NOTIFICATION HELP

    Hello

    My phone auto updated to the 12.2 beta.

    Now, I can't receive notifications on lock screen from iMessage and I'm missing a lot of notifications. If the phone is unlocked I still get banner notifications.

    Anyone have a solution?

    Background refresh

    I have disabled it for most apps to save battery, but maybe I am missing something :)

    Which app do you allow for background refresh ? Do you see any benefits to enable it ?

    Does anyone know of a gesture or way to hide the Google keyboard? I'd love a little x in the corner that closes it, sometimes with certain apps (especially older ones) it covers the area where I'm typing my text, so I can't actually see what I'm typing.

    Touching outside of the keyboard does not do anything.
