    I just want to say, despite all the negativity I’ve seen towards Apple and iPhones right now, I still absolutely love my iPhone XS.

    To me, it is the most beautiful and practical iPhone to this day. I love how the screen stretches all the way to the edges with no home button. It looks even better in person/hand than in photos and the gold color way feels unique even compared to older gold iPhone models. The weight of the device feels great in hand and the dimension ratio feels just right; like as if Apple didn't try to force the device to be as thin as possible. All in all, I love this device.

    Transfer non iTunes music from iPhone 7 to iPhone X

    I got an iPhone X over a year ago and have not been able to transfer the music from my old iPhone to my new one.

    I have about 3000 songs on my iPhone 7. These are songs that I loaded during college from cds, not songs that were purchased on iTunes. That computer that held the songs crashed, so I can't just plug the new iPhone X into the old PC.

    How can I get the music from one iPhone to another. Is there a flashdrive transfer or software I can use?

    I am terrified of doing something that resets my old phone and I lose all my music so I have avoided doing anything for a year now.

    What do? I can't control it. It been happening like this for a week. Basically what happens is I get my iPhone out of my pocket, just to see it turned off. I have to wait a couple of minutes until the fucker turns on. It's starting to get on my nerves, how do I stop it?

    I believe I read thaf Instagram doesn't appear to be formatted very well, not sure if others are like that too, in addition to games.

    I have a iPhone 8 with a broken screen. If I go thru Verizon's insurance it'll get fixed with a non apple approved screen. Can I go directly to the apple store to get it fixed? If so how much do they charge? Then can I purchase Apples insurance?

    I know this screenshot is on iPad but it shows up on my iPhone as well. These cards I’ve never used before show up only when I try to auto fill my credit card information. I can’t take them off because I don’t have them linked to my Apple ID so I don’t know what’s going on or how to take care of it.

    I have an iPhone 8 with a strange reception issue since I got it this spring. Randomly it loses connection reporting it is "searching" and remains that way until I reboot it. Since I got it it's been updated to iOS12 and also reset as a new device for an unrelated issue as well.

    At this point I have enough of this issue because it's happening more and more frequently so I decided to contact Apple for an appointment and I've been said because my iPhone has minor cosmetic damage (a couple of hairline fissures on the back from when a month ago I sat on it) they won't service it until I pay for an accidental damage repair.

    I find this thing ridiculous; just because my back is not pristine it shouldn't make my device unserviceable. I feel like I'm being blackmailed here. Tomorrow I'm going to speak with someone on the phone because the advisor made an appointment for me and I hope they will offer to take a look at my phone without asking money first. It feels counterintuitive to pay in order to access my warranty.

    iOs Update Issue

    Please forward me to any existing answer or let me know if this is the wrong sub.

    My iPhone is not updating. I have had the iPhone X for a little while now and have noticed it is slow to update in general. Whereas my past phones or versions of iOs it would auto update without me thinking about it. Now, since yesterday I have had a notification that does not clear stating "iOS 12.1.2 is available and will be installed later tonight." It did not install late last night. It got me looking and my phone is still on iOs 12.0.1. Not ideal obviously. Any help would be great. Even if I force update, how do I get it back to auto updating? Some details:

    iPhone X

    Automatic updates "On"

    I use wireless charging at night (no idea if that is relevant)

    Connected to stable WiFi at night

    Top part of Xr sticking out?

    Not sure if this was asked before but I just noticed that the top part of my Xr is kind of sticking out compared to the bottom part. Is it meant to be like this and I just never noticed or is this a defect?

    Just bought an iPhone 7 and the morning c doesn't work for the first 3 seconds of a outbound call, inbound appears fine as does voice memo and Siri. The mic sounds clear and loud when it's working. What could this be?

    Autocorrect fix for a specific word?

    For the life of me I can't figure out how to fix this issue.

    Whenever I type "Airsoft" it changes it to AIRSOFT.

    I never set this, and It drives me crazy. I've tried resetting the autocorrect library/history.

    How can I finally fix this? It's just this word.
