| Posted: 07 Jan 2019 05:04 PM PST Hello, So I have a pretty big problem that has just arised for me today and I have no idea how to fix it. I cannot seem to be able to transfer my photos from my iphone to my laptop even using methods that worked before. Usually what I would do was transfer photos using the native microsoft photos app and clicking import where it will then just import my photos to a folder and be done with it simple as cake. Today that didnt work, instead I recieved multiple errors mainly "were having trouble connecting to your device". I tried different usb ports and cables and restarting my computer as well as my phone and still the same problem. I went ahead and tried to copy my dcim folder and that gave me errors as well and I also right clicked on my devices and selected import photos and still received a error. | iPhone 6s messages aren’t popping up because I (presumably) changed the time on my device Posted: 07 Jan 2019 05:35 PM PST I was playing this iOS game on my phone and some timers can be sped up by going to date and time then setting the time manually to the next day or whenever the timer is over and I guess I got a text when my time was in the future which messed up my messages and now I won't get notified when messages do come in. Does anyone know how to fix it. My gf claims that she sends em and I reply but she doesn't get the read receipt anymore idk if that helps. I get texts from androids fine and my ringer is on. | Found iPhone XR -- what should i do with it? Posted: 07 Jan 2019 09:28 AM PST My kid found this phone outside his school about 6 weeks ago. It's not water damaged, takes a charge and appears to work just fine. We've posted to the local Nextdoor, notified the school lost-and-found and I've carried it around charged and turned on to see if the find my iphone will pick it up. It looks like there's no service/activation but it will open to the emergency call screen. Will these phones connect to random or saved (Starbucks?) open wifi to connect to the phone-finder in the cl oud? SO. What can I do with it? It seems likely that the phone was insured and already replaced, so whoever owned it isn't actively looking for it. I tried to access the contacts to see if there was an entry for "mom" but Siri won't respond without the passcode. At this point I don't see a lot of options for this functional, but totally useless (except parts?) phone. [link] [comments]  |

I want to use my laptop to give it an internet connection using bluetooth (reverse tether). I can already do this with an android phone (meaning that the PC is correctly setup already), but I don't know what to do on the iphone side. Help anyone? [link] [comments]  |

| I keep on getting the same message Posted: 07 Jan 2019 01:14 AM PST Randomly, I get this popup saying: Approval request sent To continue using iCloud on this iPhone, approve it from one of your other devices using iCloud or enter your iCloud security code. My iCloud works fine?????? I've tried system update, reboot etc, but it always appears randomly once every day. Please help, it's driving me nuts. I'm on iPhone 7, iOS 12.1.2. [link] [comments]  |
