Is there a way to block an Iphone from calling specific numbers? Posted: 17 Jan 2019 02:50 PM PST Don't want to give too many details, but I have an individual whom is making calls to a person whom they are not supposed to contact. Is there a setting or an app I can use to block outgoing calls on an IPhone to specific numbers or contacts? [link] [comments] |
Face ID is not available. Try setting up Face ID later. Posted: 17 Jan 2019 05:19 PM PST So starting this morning out of no where, I pulled my phone off the charger and looked at it to open it up. It didn't work so o tried a few times then conceded to putting in my password. I went to try and restart the Face ID and set it up again, but then it gave me the message above. I restarted my phone to no avail. Help! I wanna be lazy and not put in a password =[ [link] [comments] |
Unable to update my contact list Posted: 17 Jan 2019 06:14 AM PST hi! im using iphone 6plus. i accidentally deleted all my contacts and my only remaining back up is on my email, which is not updated for 2 years. i did the back up and as expected, the latest numbers on my inbox are not included in the list. when im trying to add names on the numbers on my inbox, it was disabled. i am left with messages in my inbox from unknown numbers. worst is when they are calling me, im always trying to figure out who's calling. how can i enable to add names on the numbers on my inbox? thanks! Iphone 7 plus rear camera black Posted: 17 Jan 2019 09:45 AM PST Got the camera replaced on my iPhone but now it's just black and third party apps don't even let me switch off the front one. I've read that I need to backup the phone but putting 119 gigs of data in the cloud is taking days. Do I just keep trying to backup? I plugged my phone into the computer and did a backup but it was super fast. I really just don't want to lose all my photos [link] [comments] |
iMessages/messages send button will not send? Posted: 17 Jan 2019 09:29 AM PST I just got a new iPhone X in December, and randomly throughout the day the send button will just not work. It will let me hold it down to send with effects, but it won't just send the plain imessage. I've restarted my phone and it'll work, but eventually again it'll randomly start doing that. Any ideas how to fix? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 08:50 AM PST So as the title speaks for itself, I started to have this issue after I went on a trip out of Country. I contacted Rogers (my Provider) and told them to put me on a "Roam-Like-Home" package for 10 days. Ever since I left on the trip, I have had these issues when calling people out of the country, as well as having issues when I came back. The issues:
I'm guessing it isn't a speaker issue, as music plays fine and I can make calls with using other apps. It's just the calls that I make using cellular data seem to have issues. I tried searching everywhere for a fix, and there doesn't seem to be anything like this issue. Hopefully someone has came across this earlier and I just missed it. Thanks for reading. “Screen Off” time showing only a couple of minutes. Posted: 17 Jan 2019 06:50 AM PST I've been having a lot of issues with the battery on my 6S. I already replaced it once about eight months ago. When I go to the Battery Health page, it says the "Screen Off" time is only 4 minutes? Is this just a bug, or can I fix it somehow? [link] [comments] |
Screen suddenly not working SOS Posted: 17 Jan 2019 05:57 AM PST So Im in the middle of using my phone and then the screen suddenly stopped working. Now the assistive touch is displayed inside a box. No part of the screen is working. I cant even restart the phone, even the home + sleep button combo wont work. This is an i7plus on iOS 11. EDIT: It's been fixed! Somehow the lock + button down button combo worked. The screen didn't have any damage btw. It just suddenly went all broken on me. [link] [comments] |
Intermittent Wi-Fi makes navigation impossible without LTE - iPhone 6 Posted: 17 Jan 2019 04:04 AM PST Hello, I've been facing an annoying issue with my 3 years old iPhone 6. I'm able to connect to every type of Wi-Fi (be it router or hotspot, protected or not) , but it seems that my phone isn't able to mantain a stable connection, and after few seconds the connection is lost. Then the phone reconnects to the Wi-Fi and then drops again, in a vicious circle that denies me to browse or watch and video and oblige me to turn off the Wi-Fi in favour of LTE. I've tried the following: - Restarting iPhone; - checking for "Wi-Fi Assistance" option to be turned off; - Restoring network option; - Restoring the iPhone and applying the backup again; - Changing Network Board (the part of the phone which allows Wi-Fi and GPS); Nothing has worked and the problem is still there. This is why I'm asking for help. Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
