iOS Jailbreak [NEWS] Futurerestore with supporting Face ID AVAILABLE NOW!

you need to install all of the dependencies required to compile futurerestore, which can be done by copying and pasting the terminal commands in this comment by u/wb0815
Now you need to run the following commands:

cd ~/Desktop

git clone https://github.com/s0uthwest/futurerestore

cd futurerestore/external

git clone https://github.com/s0uthwest/idevicerestore --recursive

cd idevicerestore

./autogen.sh && make

cd ..

git clone https://github.com/s0uthwest/img4tool --recursive

cd img4tool

./autogen.sh && make

cd ..

git clone https://github.com/s0uthwest/tsschecker --recursive

cd tsschecker

./autogen.sh && make

cd ../..

./autogen.sh && make && mv futurerestore/futurerestore ~/Downloads/

the futurerestore executable will now be in your downloads folder.

I'll be brief with the actual restore tutorial since there are already tons of "how to use futurerestore" tutorials out there: You need to also download an IPSW file for your destination iOS version, and matching SHSH2 blob file for that target version (to your downloads folder, or wherever you have futurerestore) Then set your nonce using unc0ver/nonceutil/electra (iOS 11) or nvram com.apple.System.boot-nonce=<generator found in shsh> (iOS 10 or under). Then connect your device, and on your computer, type cd Downloads && ./futurerestore -t NAME_OF_BLOB.shsh2 --latest-baseband --latest-sep NAME_OF_IPSW.ipsw. Make sure you don't have noplsrecovery installed or futurerestore will abort.

Customize your dashboard like never before !!

This tweak allows you to customize most elements of the dashboard with custom fonts, colors text and positioning. It comes preloaded with over 100 fonts. All included fonts are 100% free for personal and commercial use !!

It conflicts with LockPlus and XenHTML !!

May support in the future but this is not intended to compete with or replace these tweaks. Those tweaks do a whole lot more and if you use them you probably do not need this.

For those that are not sure what the dashboard is, it's the lockscreen/notification center.

With DashBored you can:

Change fonts, font size and color on most elements
Add your own fonts to /var/mobile/Documents/DashBored/Fonts and they get added to the list.
Use custom fonts with Nepeta's Slyd tweak (In Swipe/Press Home to Unlock Settings)
Enter custom text for the date, "No Older Notifications" text, and "Swipe/Press Home to Unlock" text
Hide elements such as date, time, and notifications.
Reposition the time, date, and move notifications up to compensate for hidden elements
Choose alignment for notification headers("Earlier Today", "Yesterday") and "No Older Notifications" text
Turn on a blurred background for the dashboard
Format the date anyway you want, has a link to a cheat sheet to help with formatting.
For settings that are crucial to respring you will be prompted to respring.

Bugs:

The only bug I found was with Noctis enabled for notifications, the notification content text color does not work but fonts work fine.
~~May conflict with other lockscreen tweaks such as LockPlusPro and XenHTML~~ Does conflict.

Things to come:

Preview fonts in list
Better repositioning of notifications
Mediaplayer customizing

Hints:

To move date individually move time first then move the date
Press enter to save text entered in prefs
Double tap the slider button to enter a value

[Tutorial] If you want to get multipath exploit on unc0ver; FYI, as of now although the current certificate doesn’t have it.

You need the "Disable App Revokes" in unc0ver to be enabled at while jailbreaking. If it wasn't, you're gonna have to do it now. If it was earlier, then continue.
Find an ipa of unc0ver which is signed with a revoked certificate which has the correct entitlements for the multipath exploit. (I had unc0ver on my iPad which was signed by a certificate which was revoked long time ago. I used Ext3nder to rebuild it into an ipa and transferred it to my device which needs it).
Use Ext3nder to install unc0ver. (Hit install, DO NOT RESIGN IT WITH YOUR OWN ACCOUNT, it is a signed ipa, so just install.)
It should give you the pop up of untrusted developer and you can go into settings and trust it.
You should have the MP exploit; and it should say about more than 300 days are remaining for expiry.
Profit.

I'm sure this question has been asked but since Ian hasn't tweeted anything since mid December, I figured I should ask. Just checking as I am not aware. Are we just waiting for Ian Beer to drop the goods now in order for the 11.4.x jailbreak? I was aware of what S0rrymybad had posted but haven't seen anything about Ian yet. Also, is there any reason he wouldn't though? Isn't the 90 day thing over now? I've seen that he's always contributed in the past and has gotten his name in the credits of multiple jailbreaks to my knowledge. Sorry, this probably all gets asked often but this community is kinda big and it's hard to tell what's already been asked. Hopefully someone has an answer, thanks!

So, I opened an issue on the Unc0ver's github page cause I couldn't set my generator with the latest Unc0ver version due to Substitute being abandoned. Pwn told me he would fix it and 2 hours later he had already coded and compiled a new deb with a working cli generator setter for ios 11. The guy is not human.... Thank you for everything you have done in this community!

P.S. After installation you can use the program with the command nonceutil as root. (nonceutil -h to see the list of commands)

[Request] iPhone SD card filesystem access via Filza

I'm on an iPhone 6s, 11.1.2.

The Apple branded CCK and Lightning to SD and Lightning to USB allow for import from sd to iphone only.

I want to have conventional filesystem access to external storage - SD card, Microsd, usb, whatever. I suspect a lot of others should want the same thing, but surprisingly this post hasn't been made in a long time!

Let me know what options i have. Thanks!

[Request] For Unc0ver since pwn20wnd is taking user request how bout right before we jailbreak he gives the option to install any tweaks that need to be reinstalled every time the devices reboots (mostly carrier cracks) it beats having to go to filza each time

I think if we have something like this, more people could understand how long it takes to make a jailbreak, when the jailbreak have typically been released. Maybe less ETA questions will be asked by community.

iOS 12.2 all but confirms AirPods 2 with Hey Siri support. I've been holding our for new AirPods for months, but I'm also chilling on 12.1.1 waiting on a jailbreak. Which do you guys think will be more impressive? Is the upgrade worth it? 12.2 doesn't have as many jailbreak exploits as 12.1.2 and below does.

how to disable viewing photos from camera app? when they click on it, they can see the whole album.

I've tried some tweaks, such as: denyphotoalbums, photomanager, springplus11, mikoto, but they all could not disable it.
Maybe I did not have a good setting for those tweaks. Please help me to figure it out. Thank you guys.

[Help]Unc0ver bootstrap issue

Hello so I have had a jail broken device before but now I'm totally clueless because of some weird glitch of my device I needed to reset so I did and I lost my jailbreak as expected still on iOS 11.2.5 but the problem is is that I used to jailbreak with Electra and that didn't work even after 1 hour of failed jail breaking so I installed Unc0ver but now multiple apps won't work saying You can't use this device unjailbreak first but I don't have any form or type of Sileo or Cydia and I now am clueless because of it I have tried ssh into my own device with my ip and SU alpine but I can't get in and it refuses it leading me to believe I am partly jail broken so I've fiddled with the settings to fix it and I restored roots and roll extra won't install so then the unc0ver started working but now I get these errors and it stops and gives me an error message saying:

Error (Fatal) Test: Installdeb("spawn.deb",false) Filename: viewcontroller.m Line: 673 Function: extractResources Description: Failed to extract bootstrap

Please help me guys

Device Context:

i7 - iOS 11.2.6
i6 - iOS 10.2
i5 - iOS 10.3.3

I am hoping this can become a Master Wiki of sorts or Source for one that I can "collect & repost" for people who might also manage in similar

PROBLEM STATEMENT: Anyone who is kinda Geeky or on JB knows we download & play with too many apps; to find the best & most productive
- This research also leads to distraction & lack of productivity due to excess at times; too many apps
- Would like to create a "minimization / selection" process/ method around this
- Leaving the "moral advise" aside please focus on technical & methodical ways to do this
MENTAL MINDSET: I'd like to use my older / newer iPhones as Dev > Test > Production boxes (if anyone has worked in Corp/ IT)
- i.e. Download & play with lots of Appstore/ Cydia apps & test out workings of Apps on Dev/ Test iPhone of various categories, or functional types/ interest areas
- Move or PROMOTE only fewer select Apps from Dev/ Test to my Primary use Production iPhone
UNKNOWN But POSSIBLE - MERGE / INSERT?
- When one older phone failed due to Hardware issues I had to start using another for several months and did not get a chance to do a Backup/ Restore
  - Contacts were synced with iCloud but I avoided/ prefer not putting other data on Cloud
- There are plenty of Windows/ Mac (maybe even Cydia) Applications that can read some of the DBs/ SQLite etc for
  - Photos - I'd like to actually "MERGE" All the Timeline and Photo/ Folder information AS IS from 2 iPhones.It's visible in iMazing & I've done some test Copy/ Paste/ Duplication, I am curious if a "Legit" Full meta data move & merge is possible from 2 phones to ONE?
  - Messages/ iMessages - I'm guessing DB structure is known so for someone with DB/ SQL/ Excel knowledge and some SQLite tools it shouldn't be too hard? or is there some Hashing/ HASHes that'll prevent that?I'd like to do a FULL MERGE of this from 2 PHONES
  - Notes - Hoping that iCloud Notes Sync would hold & maintain data & "Date/Time Stamps" for the notes from the phones
  - Contacts - Hoping that iCloud Contacts Sync would hold & maintain data & "Date/Time Stamps" (Created/ Modified Dates) for the Contacts from the phones (I use "recent" contacts & similar to know)
