    Apple TV 4K - Audio, but no video

    Hi all

    Recently got an Apple TV 4K to go with our 4K TV, checked the TV specs and it ticks all the boxes in terms of requirements to use an Apple TV with. We also got the Belkin HDMI cable recommended on Apple's website.

    However we have an intermittent issue where Netflix, Youtube, Youtube TV and even the live screensaver will not show any video content at all, however the audio will be fine. Rebooting, removing HDMI cable will not resolve the issue, we leave it for a couple hours and come back to watch TV and it works fine.

    We currently are enrolled in the beta profile however this has happened from day 1 back on tvOS 11.2

    I've found a few posts online however there seems to be no go to fix to resolve this.

    Current config:

    Format: 4K SDR

    HDMI Output: YCbCr

    Chroma: 4:4:4

    Match Content: OFF

    ​

    The match content is off as some Netflix content will drop to 24hz and the TV doesn't seem to be a fan.

    The TV supports HDCP 2.2 and the Apple TV is plugged into the correct HDMI port for HDCP/4K

    ​

    Our internet is 50mb/s down and 20up so the internet isn't an issue. the Apple TV is listed as 'high priority' on the network too so it has bandwidth allocation priority when in use.

    Has anyone had this issue and managed to resolve it?

    Netflix bitrate information "null"?

    https://www.netflix.com/title/70297469 will show all relavant information on my mac, but on my apple tv it only shows resolution, bitrate is reported as "null".

    Anything I can do?

    How do I stop sports updates from TV?

    I put the NBC Sports app on my Apple TV so my friend could watch football. Now I get sports updates on my watch. How do I stop this? I agreed to let the TV connect connect something after I downloaded it but I don't know what I agreed to. It was a time sensitive situation. Thank you.

    Changing speaker source from YouTube app?

    Does any know know how to change the speaker source from the YouTube app without going back to the home screen? For apps like Netflix, you can just swipe down on the remote to bring up a menu which allows you to change where the music is being played from however the YouTube app does not have that function,

    YouTube tends to default to the tv speakers when opened. Going back to the home screen and changing the source takes longer than I would like and can be annoying when a group of guests are around. Asking the home pod to change the source only adds the homepods to the tv sound which then play together out of sync.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    How can I keep ATV connected with Samsung Smart TV?

    Whenever I turn on the samsung TV by just regular remote control or voice control through google home, it always saying that 'check HDMI' sign. So I need to use ATV remote control again to turn on the ATV.

    Is there any way to keep turning on the ATV when I turn just TV on?

    No network error! Help!!

    We got an apple tv 4k for xmas! (Upgraded from the first gen finally) Daily we get a notification about no network! But im connected to wifi! All other devices in house are fine too! This morning it just will not play ANYTHING! Ive restarted my internet, ive restarted apple tv, and it says connected but when i click an app it says no network connection! Help!!!! Im so frustrated! (Canada)

    Transformer Dark Of the Moon PQ

    I bought an Apple TV 4K for the quality upgrade on my digital copies. Went to play Dark of the moon to test out the PQ and it looks absolutely terrible. Out of my whole library it seems Dark of the moon is the only one having issues. It doesn't even look 1080p. I have the vizio p series 2018 and it displays that it's playing at 4K Dolby vision. Any one else have the same issue?
