Trying to transfer photos from old app on iPhone 6 Posted: 29 Dec 2018 09:35 PM PST I have my old iPhone and recently recalled I have an app that had photos I saved to. However, my phone updated to IOS 11 but the app developer hasn't/won't update the app. Is there a way to get access to these photos via my computer when its connected (I have both a Mac laptop and desktop PC so any process is doable)? I don't know my pin and support won't talk to me without it. Posted: 29 Dec 2018 09:01 PM PST I broke my iphone 7 almost a year ago. I haven't even thought of a phone since then. Obviously I don't remember a stupid four digit code specific to a device I don't use anymore. So now I have this iPhone 8 sitting here. Useless. Because you can't just get a new pin like a password. Please someone help. [link] [comments] |
Need help! iPhone 6plus Randomly loosing service Posted: 29 Dec 2018 03:02 PM PST So I have an iPhone 6plus on iOS 10.0.2. Here lately the phone has been randomly dropping out of service and no matter what I do I can't get it to regain service. I know it's an issue with the phone because I can pop my sim into my iPhone XS with no issues whatsoever. Here's what I've tried to solve the problem - new SIM card, complete restore (same iOS 10.0.2$, reset network settings, spam airplane mode, switch 4g and lte, switching to airplane mode powering off removing and replacing sim) I've literally trial and errored anything I could think of, at this point I'm sure it's something internal. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be amazing. [link] [comments] |
iPhone 5S not charging or powering on whilst on charge Posted: 29 Dec 2018 05:12 AM PST Hello everyone, sorry if this has been posted a million times but I'm pretty new to the whole iPhone thing. Bought a cheap pre-owned iPhone 5s from ebay the other day just as a little iOS phone to mess around with (I'm usually grounded to Android but wanted to give it a shot). As soon as it arrived, I plugged it in and nothing. The first time upon plugging it in the apple logo flashed up. Brilliant, working fine then. But instead it just returned to a black screen and since then that's all it's been. Just a black screen, no power or anything even by holding the power button, doing the power + home combination, plugging it into an external hard drive (which the indicator lights recognises the cable and is sending power to it). I'm out of luck as yet. Could it be the cable or is it a phone hardware issue? I bought it as working and the images on ebay definitely showed that. The thing is though is that the phone is warm as it has been on charge for quite a while, could that indicate that something is going through it? Not sure what to try really. Thanks! How much weight can you put on iPhone X screen without it breaking? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 08:43 AM PST I accidently left my phone on the couch and my 210 lb father sat on it for a couple of minutes. I noticed it was on the couch after he got up and the screen is fine. I'm wondering if the screen is really okay and nothing is messed up under the hood that will cause a problem later. And how much weight can you put on an iPhone X screen without it breaking? I'm hoping it's like 300 lbs or something to give me some piece of mind. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Dec 2018 08:04 AM PST Hey guys, I've had an issue for around a month or so now. My iPhone X face ID completely stopped working, whenever I try to set it up it says "Face ID unavailable." I've tried all the normal stuff, resetting my phone - resetting settings, etc. Nothing has worked. Does anyone have any other ideas I can try? I assume from what I've read it has something to do with a faulty sensor inside my phone. [link] [comments] |
almost Half of all memory is “others” Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:44 AM PST My phone keeps notifying me about low storage and when I go into settings it says that 43% of the storage is "other" I've tried clearing my cache but it doesn't go down or anything. Please help. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Dec 2018 05:58 AM PST So i have an iPhone 8 Plus. Currently stuck in a boot loop. Tried multiple combination of button pushes, the classic hard reset. Tried plugging into computer and updating ios that way. Tried plugging into computer to do a full restore. When i try this method, the apple logo appears with the progress bar underneath saying that its restoring but it goes back to boot loop. Nothing is working. Any ideas peeps? [link] [comments] |
