    This is a beta tweak and may be buggy.

    Conflicts with: AudioRecorder, CallBar, VoiceChanger, BioProtect. Make sure you don't have any of these or you'll end up in a respring loop.

    Privacy mode control center toggle for iOS 9, 10 and 11.

    Flipswitch on iOS 9 & 10 required. CCSupport on 11.

    Make sure to add it to your control center (either from Flipswitch or "Control Center" in Preferences).

    I remember this morning like it was yesterday. Grabbing my phone and seeing the sweet sight of my apex'd out home screen on yalu, as it has been since 10.2 was live.

    I told them, do not update or restore my device. Stop the service. I will do it myself if something goes wrong. "don't worry, we don't have to touch the software for a battery".

    My device was totally wiped and handed back to me on 12.1.2. I found the tech. I said WTF mate. "Oh actually I guess it turns out the oldest OS that can pass our diagnostic is....10.4." Oh, that's cool, I'm glad you told me that after the fact.

    Seems amusing to have blobs studiously saved for every FW revision from iOS 10 now. I'm a peasant scrub again.

    In a legitimately noob move, my last itunes backup was almost exactly 1 year ago today, on 10.2. So far the restore keeps stopping completely and won't take.

    RIP me. RIP yalu days. RIP 10.2.

    [Discussion] Battery drain on latest substrate

    Hi, I am testing the battery drain since the first version of iOS 11 substrate was released. I tested it on every 2.0+ version of unc0ver and on the latest also, tweaks disabled and even uninstalled all of them to make sure it's not tweak related.

    The problem is that with Substrate (yes even with the latest update of it) random daemons appear in CocoaTop that spikes every 5-10 seconds up to 15% of proc usage. Even when the phone is locked and in standby with airplane mode on I get 10% battery drain over 5 hours or so. Again this is not tweak related since I tested with 0 tweaks installed.

    This does not happen if I downgrade back to Substitute. With it my proc stays at a stable 2-4% max in CocoaTop with no battery drainage at all. So from 4% in standby vs 15% I can say the battery drain is huge.

    And it seems that daemons like locationd, biometrickitd and mobilewatchdog are spiking the most when on Substrate. I have all the location services disabled, tried to keep it as minimal as I could in terms of services that are enabled on my phone.

    I'm on iPhone X, 11.3.1 phone is brand new so with no battery issues; maybe substrate is not purely optimized for the X devices? Eager to hear your thoughts on this. Here is a recording of CocoaTop with substrate: https://imgur.com/gallery/iCTaubv

    [Help] Cydia wont launch

    So I was on the latest substrate and I started having problems using Instagram cause it would not launch so I simply just downgraded back to substitute again and now Cydia refuses to launch at all , anyone have ideas or advice what to do ? I'm on Unc0ver 2.0.2

    I used CustomNotificationSound for my device on iOS 9, but it does not support iOS 10. I'm currently using an iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 10.1.1.

    [Question] Why does disabling the option “Reload System Daemons” in Unc0ver work with Saurik’s Substrate?

    just curious as to why this works with the option not enabled and what is it for?

    I've been trying to jailbreak my phone when the new substrate dropped and got the respring loop. It was fixed when somebody said that you have to disable this option to work with updated substrate.

    I have an iPhone 7 Plus on 11.3.1. I have the latest unc0ver and updated substrate.

    [Update] HUE2 - Philips Hue Lights Change Colour to Dominant Now Playing Artwork Colour

    Hey everyone!

    Just a quick little update on HUE2 as the initial 6 releases worked for some and were buggy for others.

    v0.0.7 fixes the issue where users couldn't connect to a Bridge by adding a button in the new settings panel which can be used to select new bridges.

    This will also use the originally selected Bridges if you have already been able to select one.

    Also. Self promotion! Because why not?

    I updated Cydia Substrate to 0.9.7011 and resprung and opened Cydia and there was an update for Substrate Compatibility Layer, so I updated and now Cydia won't open. My tweaks are working. Any ideas?
