    [Release] Sileo Installer - Install Sileo alongside unc0ver and Cydia

    This is a basic Sileo installer I made for unc0ver. It does the following in order to install Sileo:

    1. It downloads Sileo from Coolstar's repository. Sileo isn't repackaged.
    2. It applies a patch that changes the folder of sileo.list to /opt/u0sileo. This makes it possible to use Cydia alongside Sileo.
    3. It moves the patched application into the applications folder.
    4. It sets the correct permissions.
    5. It refreshes the icon cache.
    6. It syncs cydia.list with sileo.list. This way your repositories are added into Sileo. EDIT: This is no longer the case as some repositories seem to break Sileo.

    Warning: This installer is only for unc0ver. If you are using Electra, just install Sileo from Coolstar's repository.

    Note: This installer doesn't fix bugs with APT and DPKG. This means you are still not able to install, remove, upgrade or downgrade packages.

    I tried to get it from geosn0w's site but it redirects me to the uncover download page now. The last version runs like utter garbage on my ipad, been trying for like an hour to jailbreak, random reboots, etc. While on the original better VFS I could get into the jailbreak in max 3 attempts. Is there anyone that still has it and could share it with me?

    Last night I experienced maybe 6 different sets of bootloops after a weird glitch while compiling and installing a tweak for Sileo. I don't believe it was Sileo since I was successful in tweaking and changing things 47 prior times with no issue. The time I bootlooped I only changed the values of some colors so this wasn't Sileos fault. However after now multiple RootFS restores, jailbreaking with unc0ver, delectraing, and then RootFSing again and trying to jailbreak with Electra I get through the jailbreak with tweaks on and it says OpenSSH is now running. When I press exit i get shot back to my homescreen where I cant open any applications. Then within the next minute my phone will Kernel panic and reset. However in between that time I am able to communicate with OpenSSH. As soon as I put in my password on my computer to connect it kernel panics my phone. Ive never gotten through Electra with tweaks off since the bootloops as it will just Kernel Panic each time. What should I do?

    Edit: If you have this Issue on the newest Electra1112 version you just have to downgrade to 1.0.4. The ipa is available through here.

    You know how you normally need to replace your iPhone battery after 2 years? Well, you can make your battery last up to 8 years.

    Lithium ion batteries last up to 400% longer if you keep them between 25% and 75% charge. This means don't let the battery go lower than 25% and try not to charge it past 75% unless you're charging overnight.

    How the fuck am I gonna do that? I need 100% of my battery during the day! You ask, then exclaim.

    Simple. You buy a battery case for your phone like I have. When the batt hits 25% you start the charge and stop it when it hits 75%

    Apple has notifications for when the batt hits 20% and 80% to remind you when you fuck up. 20-80 will extend battery life by about 300% so it's not bad. When you go to bed you can charge your phone up to 100% then rinse and repeat. It's ok to be at 100% when sleeping since night is the coldest time, and being at 100% when it's cold isn't bad.

    I KNOW this works because i started doing this method 2 months back when my battery was at 89% capacity and its still at 89% capacity 2 months later. It hasnt lost one % in 2 months.

    Now, the tighter you keep your battery the MORE it will last... If you can manage to keep it between 65% and 75% (which is ridiculous) then your battery will last 1200% longer!!!

    How can a tweak help with this?

    Here's where my tweak request comes in. There are two ways a tweak can be done: IF POSSIBLE (I know it's probably not) to force the phone to stop charging at a specified percent (75% preferable) that would be ideal.

    The other way is to make a tweak that pops up a warning at the percentages you specify. So say you set the tweak to 35-65 then the tweak will pop up a notification when your battery hits 35% to remind you to charge and again notified you when you're at 65% to stop charging. User can set any two percentages they want, 25-75 or even 65-75 if they wanna get crazy.

    Ok so I know it's not really jailbreak related (or could be since this never happened until I jailbroke) but YouTube has this glitch for me where I won't touch the screen but the hud with the time and slider and YouTube title will popup then go away after a second or two. And it happens randomly. Anyone else have this issue know how to fix it.

    Hey, I'm making a Tweak for quick respring, reboot etc. Everything works, except shutdown, I use the following code.

    [Question] upgrading phone, do I go for A11 or A12 chip?

    Had a bit of a search but couldn't find any current info on thoughts about vulnerability of A12 vs A11, aside from 8.3's PAC.

    I'm obviously interested in upgrading to the phone that is the most able to be jailbroken - and I realise that I will be basing my decision mostly on speculation, as no public jailbreak exists for an A12 device or for ios12.

    So, does anyone who's analysed the A12 chip have any opinions on its vulnerability compared to A11?

    [Help] Randomly Instagram stopped working and will not launch without crashing instantly, I uninstalled all tweaks for it and used NoSub on it and still no luck any ideas on why this is happening ?
