Schmdt strap=scam Posted: 29 Dec 2018 01:19 AM PST I bought two straps but little did I realise that 'crested' brand straps would be shipped out from China. (Note that the website specifically mentions that the straps are being shipped from the US. ) Obviously my feedback will never make it to the webpage but really these bands are cheap and unremarkable quality. What i thought would be cool would be: ​ stand alone app starting from watch (or no need to have the phone on hand when starting pitch) that can trigger 3 haptic alerts (ex : 1haptic@5min, 1haptic@8min, 3haptic@9min) while on DND mode ​ Right now apple timer does 1 & 2, but cannot get 2) in the mix. How to keep from losing progress when restoring phone data from earlier backup? Posted: 28 Dec 2018 06:12 PM PST A while back, someone posted a method to keep your watch/workout data synced and not lose it if you have to restore your phone from an earlier backup, but I can't find it now. I have to have my phone battery replaced as soon as they can set up an appointment, and they warn that data loss is possible so you should backup the phone. I don't have room to backup the whole phone on iCloud right now (working on getting my too-many-photos off it now), so I'm worried I'm going to end up restoring from a version I make on my computer before the appointment. That would have workout info from before a day of walking and standing, so I'd risk losing my perfect streak (again - already lost a day of workouts when I switched phones...). Since updating the battery’s draining ... Posted: 29 Dec 2018 02:39 AM PST I updated my S4 to 5.1.2 some days ago. Since then the battery won't last any more. Last night I went to bed with 80% and while in sleep mode it shutdown 2 and a half hours later. This morning I restarted the watch and loaded it to 100% battery. No where seems to want to fix it so I'm wondering if glueing the edges would work or if that would ruin the haptics?
