    Is this possible? I know mavericks takes about 6-10GB for download, usually to download 10GB on my wifi it takes 20 minutes, how is this possible? Should I leave it in this state? HELP

    Problem, when I try to send a photo in imessage on my mac it shows this open circle in the bottom left corner of the picture and it doesn't send to my phone

    RSS Reader with mark while scrolling

    Im looking for RSS Reader in macOS with the option to mark read while scrolling. It should be compatible with feedly. I have looked into reeder and leaf. But both don't support it :( You guys have an alternative ?

    SIP enabling itself with every reboot?

    Hello!

    I'm running the latest version of Sierra. I've been lately messing around and trying to restore AHT onto the Recovery HD partition and what I've noticed is that after every reboot I have to go back to recovery and disable SIP again in order to do any changes to the Recovery HD partition.

    Is this something new that came with latest security patches or something else is misbehaving?

    MacOS Mojave - Spotify Notifications

    Hello Everyone,

    I use Spotify a lot, and I use to use a small utility to get Artist / Title Information when listening to music, but it looks like it was either shut-down or removed from the app store.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for a good replacement for displaying Song / Artist information when listening to Spotify?

    Can you switch the Ctrl and Fn keys in Mojave?

    I still run an older OS X system for program compatibility. Unfortunately I can only remap fn to ctrl and not vice versa in High Sierra (which I no longer run). So did Apple fix this issue in Mojave? I really want Dark Mode but I'm waiting for the bugs to be ironed out before making the jump.

    You'd think that a big company like Apple would understand how useful the ctrl key is.

    If anyone has Mojave, you can check by going to System Preferences --> Keyboard --> Modifier Keys or something similar, if Apple changed it.

    Problem with Calendar, Mail and Spotlight search

    For the last couple of days, I have been trying to fix what I assumed was a problem with the index on my computer, as I no longer could search for certain items through spotlight or Alfred, but also no luck in Mail or Calendar.

    The first time I encountered this problem I "Re-build MacOS metadata" (through Alfred) as I thought it was a simple fix. Sure enough, once I let it work through I could search again in calendar and mail. A few moments later the search results in all mentioned applications were gone.

    I have tried the following: Re-index everything, through system preferences, force index through the terminal, using the terminal to turn index off and on again, re-installing MacOS through internet recovery etc. etc.

    And every time it seems to fix it, only for the search results to vanish again.

    I'm out of ideas of what could be the problem as I have searched and tried all the things I could find so far.

    Would be great if someone knew what the problem is.

    Am I the only one who does not use iCloud Photos?

    I don't see the point of it if you have enough storage on your iPhone/Mac/iPad. There is quality loss and lag in showing the pics (when you don't have coverage or when you are in busy areas with low speeds). For those who use it, why not simply manage all your pics from your Mac, they are automatically sync with your iPhone?

    Wacom freezes in Mojave

    For a while now I've been dealing with micro "freezes" with my Intuos, where my system will lock up for a fraction of a second a few times a minute. Now that I've installed Mojave it's progressed to 5-10 second freezes about once a minute, where I can still use my keyboard and tab through apps, but the mouse and tablet are completely unresponsive. I just have to sit and wait for it to unlock itself.

    I'm up to date on my OS and my Wacom drivers and am not sure what else to do. Thoughts?

    Mojave displaying odd font

    On occasion my OS (Mojave, but also happened in Sierra) will use an odd display font. It's mostly online with links and headlines, but sometimes it will show up in app dialog boxes as well. I've never tried to change my system fonts before, so I'm not sure where this one came from, or how to change it. Thoughts?

    USB 3.0 external SSD fast enough to install Mojave on?

    Hi all,

    I'd like to have a tinker with Mojave without losing High Sierra (which is finally working pretty well on my late 2015 iMac). So, I'm thinking of getting a 256gb SSD external hard drive with USB 3.0 or 3.1. Do you think this will be fast enough booting /using Mojave compared to the iMac's internal fusion drive?

    This problem arises regardless of whether dark mode is enabled or not. For other apps, there is a slight gray lin in dark mode, but in Chrome, the white line stays even if I turn on or off dark mode.

    Is there any fix to remove this white line?
