iPhone XS - Unresponsive after unplugging charger cable Posted: 20 Nov 2018 12:19 AM PST Hey folks, First post so hopefully i do this right. This morning when i took my iphone xs 64gb off charge it went to a black screen and completely unresponsive, after about 30seconds of hitting the power button it sprung back to life. Any reason why it would do this? I remember chargegate but i thought that had been fixed already Thanks in advance, Jonathan [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Nov 2018 04:15 PM PST So I put a screentime password on my girlfriend phone because she was going on Instagram way too much. So she agreed that I can put it if she puts one on mine. I agreed and long story short , she forgot my screentime password so I can only go on Instagram like 30 minutes a day. Any way to fix this? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Nov 2018 02:05 PM PST A large number of my contacts have had the letter A inserted after the area code. A link to a screenshot of my "favorites" page is below. Does anyone know how to fix this issue. iPhone 7. iOS 12. [link] [comments] |
Website suggestions still showing up in Safari after deleting history. Posted: 19 Nov 2018 01:34 PM PST Title. Even after deleting my history I'm still getting auto-complete suggestions to websites that aren't in my bookmarks. [link] [comments] |
Downgrading a phone for cheap? Posted: 19 Nov 2018 12:43 PM PST So I currently have an Iphone 7 thats falling apart. I'm looking to get a new phone, but honestly would prefer to downgrade to the 6 if it could save me hundreds of dollars. I looked online and found "unlocked" versions of the 6 for <$200, but wasn't sure exactly how these worked. Do I just put my sim card into these phones and it works regularly? Do I need to do anything more? edit: Buying an iphone 6 from apple barely saves any money since they still charge like $600 for a new one, and at that point I might as well buy a later model [link] [comments] |
Windows/mac app for viewing iPhone messages? Posted: 19 Nov 2018 09:39 AM PST I used to use AnyTrans to log into my icloud account and download a backup of my iPhone. This backup included all of my messages which I could view through the cloud. For some reason, AnyTrans doesn't work for me anymore. Is that because it's a paid app now? Is there any alternative free apps I could use? [link] [comments] |
Samsung Gear 3 -> Iphone -> Myfitnesspal Posted: 19 Nov 2018 07:58 AM PST Hello all, I recently moved over to Iphone from Android, and whilst I am still making the transition, I am still using the Samsung Gear3 watch. I know you can use this and IOS have added the samsung health app and gear app to the app store, however I am struggling to now set this all up on my fitnesspal... mainly for tracking steps. So to confirm, Gear 3 to track steps and update via iphone into myfitness pal :) Sorry if it seems confusing. Any help will do [link] [comments] |
Can't hear calls. Other caller can't hear me. Posted: 19 Nov 2018 07:54 AM PST I finally did an update for my phone. I typically don't rush to do them because I think they are a scam to make phones obsolete and force you to buy a new one. Well, low and behold, after the update (a few days) ago when I call or get a call, I can't hear anything. No dial tone, no person on the other end. The other person can't hear me either. I have tried: -restarting the phone numerous times (it takes several minutes to turn back on, this is longer than it normally should take). -disconnecting from Bluetooth devices -using speakerphone (i can hear the dial tone, but once the call is answered I can't hear anything again). Please let me know if you have any fixes. [link] [comments] |
