Why does my iPhone X keeps emitting sound when my volumes are down? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 09:29 AM PST On the control screen (with airplane mode, etc), my volume is fully down. Yet, my iphone X emits sounds when receiving text messages, or using applications, or Siri. What is happening, it is so confusing. This is my first iphone. [link] [comments] |
Iphone x max magnetic cases with charging Posted: 17 Nov 2018 05:45 AM PST I just got a Iphone x max. When I had my Iphone x before I had a rokform magnetic case that screwed up the wireless charging. I love having a magnet in my case so this is irritating. When a coworker was showing off his max before I got my max he had the pitaka case and talked about all the accessories etc. This guy is very into new fancy tech. While doing my own research I found the magbak case, the mous and the pitaka. Which is the best? I don't see a lot of comparison reviews online. I have a privacy screen for the phone so, I don't need another screen protector but I'm constantly dropping my phone so I do need good drop protection. Thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Nov 2018 09:52 PM PST Typing on my phone is a bit laggy. Compared to other iphoneX, 8 plus, I've realized that my inputs are a millisecond behind. It's not the end of the world but this causes letters, spaces, characters to be missed and it gets super frustrating when it happens so often. (I type pretty fast...) As for fixes, I set up as new phone, dfu mode both update and restore, no screen protector on, hard reset, etc. Reset my settings, reset dictionary settings, tried gboard. I took it to the apple store and their diagnostics said nothing was wrong with my screen. I've never dropped my phone or got it wet. Otherwise, everything else works perfectly, it's just touchscreen inputs are delayed by a bit. No ghosting issues either. Running ios 12.1 Any thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Nov 2018 07:25 AM PST Hi Reddit, i going to buy my new phone in this holiday. I am confused between apple and google phone. The XR and pixel 3 have the same price in store. Which one you refer? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Nov 2018 02:01 AM PST Hello! I recently got an iPhone X (silver), which will be delivered in the next week or so. I'm looking for a case that is nice in the hand, doesn't make the phone too bulky and still offers a decent amount of protection. Currently I'm leaning towards the Saddle Brown leather case from Apple, and while it's more beautiful than protective, I also want some alternatives. What cases do you use? [link] [comments] |
Unreasonable standby battery drain Posted: 17 Nov 2018 06:10 AM PST I left my iPhone last night on my nightstand at 68%; it was not plugged in since it would've been unnecessary, and I force closed all apps and tried my best to make it as "clean" as possible overnight (i.e. no running background processes). This morning I woke up to 24%. It's not exactly life-ruining but it is surely inconvenient. I have background app refresh turned off completely, auto-brightness is off, I even turned off automatic iCloud backup for the night, yet the battery still drains this much for no reason. I've had this phone for just barely two months and battery health is 100%. WTF do I do? [link] [comments] |
