Weird iPhone X app icon glitch Posted: 17 Nov 2018 08:02 PM PST So when I close out an app (semi-frequently), a strange icon will flash in the upper left corner, where the top left app icon is located. It glitches and flashes for a second and then goes away. It only happens as soon as I close an app, not 100% of the time but enough that I notice it and it's really annoying. I just got my screen replaced because of a multitouch issue Apple was aware of. But this glitchy thing has been happening for a few months and I am so frustrated because I just got home from the Apple store. They refused to replace the phone which is fine, I know they needed to replace the screen first. But I've been to the Apple store 3 times now with issues and it's just a lot lol. [link] [comments] |

iPhone 7 can't call or receive calls. Posted: 17 Nov 2018 02:42 PM PST This is really annoying. Everything else seems to work fine (apps, texting, etc.). When I try to call out, it just says "calling" for a while, but the call never never starts. Sometimes, the call will go through, but I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me. I've tested this by calling someone in the same room. Half the time, the call doesn't get to them. If it does, and they pick up, neither of us hears anything. Interestingly, the speakerphone icon is greyed out when calling. If I power the phone off and then on, I can usually make one or two successful calls, but within a few minutes I'm back to nothing. I've scoured the internet but can't finding anything useful. I'm not using Bluetooth with anything. [link] [comments] |
New battery- but phone keeps overheating Posted: 17 Nov 2018 01:52 PM PST Just yesterday I replaced a customers iPhone 6 battery because it kept turning off even with a fullish charge. He reported that it no longer turns off randomly and that the battery is a much better battery than before, but for whatever reason the phone seems to be overheating constantly. Is there anyone that could help me with this? I have other iPhones I can pick and pull parts from but I'm curious as to why it would do that. Even with the crappy old battery t wasn't overheating, just dying constantly. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Nov 2018 08:55 AM PST Anyone have an issue with Sprint claiming they have unlocked the phone but it's not. I'm trying to use my dad's iPhone X on AT&T. SIM not supported. How can I unlock this myself? There's gotta be a way [link] [comments] |
Question about apple id ( sorry if wrong sub) Posted: 17 Nov 2018 07:28 AM PST I am moving from South Africa to Canada soon, so I am probably going to have to change my apple id region. I have one problem with this, when I go and say change region it says i have to cancel my apple music ( really don't want to, I have over 4000 songs). If i change my region and sign up for apple music again will all my old songs I had still be connected to my apple Id or will alll be lost? [link] [comments] |
