I just got an S4 LTE watch and I'm curious which apps out there work well without the iPhone being in range - extra points if they're completely autonomous except perhaps for an initial phone setup. | Absolute cheapest US phone plan with Apple Watch LTE Posted: 20 Nov 2018 07:48 PM PST I live in the US, and I'd like to get LTE service for my Apple Watch. However, I have existing phone service through my employer, and can't add Apple Watch to it. Meanwhile, I've got an old iPhone lying around that I'd like to get service for, essentially only so that I can get accompanying service for the Apple Watch; I don't plan to use the phone at all. Any idea what the cheapest US plan (total price, including phone+watch) is? Of course, none of the prepaid plans work with Apple Watch, so as far as I'm aware it's got to be a postpaid plan on one of the big 4. I'm fine with a cheap plan with minimal data, but that doesn't seem to exist anymore. tl;dr -- what's the absolute cheapest (total cost) phone+watch plan on a US carrier? Thanks. I have connected the authentic Apple charger to the watch, and it shows charging, but then it will decrease the battery life over the charging time. It'll start with 20%, then fall to 19% over an hour of 'charging' time. I've tried to use every video under the sun to help me out, and every forum post I can find, but nothing has worked. No hard reset, no change of 5W to 12W plugs, nothing. The only thing left to do is restore it. Anyone have any solutions? Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||
