    Watch strap question for the experienced audience here... looking for something similar to the Nomad Sport Strap (https://hellonomad.com/products/sport-strap) for the 40 mm version of the apple watch (which has a 34mm width) that runs the entire width of the apple watch. I would really like something in leather. I think a 24-26mm strap width would be optimal. I've looked at purchasing adapters for alternative bands - but they also seem to have size limitations.

    Any thoughts or experience out there that might benefit myself and others?

    I have been on the fence about the purchase but bit the bullet yesterday. I have been wearing my a Garmin Vivoactive for 2 years and served me well . It looks like a potato and screen is trash but the software is accurate. I noticed wearing the Apple Watch that the pedometer is at about 100+ steps ahead of the Garmin (yes both are being worn on same wrist while at the house). I haven't calibrated the Apple Watch fully but wouldn't think it would read that far out. Has anyone thought that their pedometer was wrong? Maybe my Garmin is wrong ? I think the Garmin is correct as I did calibrate it when I bought it. It has error of 3 or 4 in a hundred steps
    I normally average 9-13 miles a day at work and really like to keep track.

    Apple Watch 4 Cellular or gps only?

    I'm planning to upgrade from Apple Watch S3 42mm cellular to S4 40mm. Not sure if I have to go for the gps only option this time, I never activated cellular on my S3 until now so thinking to save A few bucks on gps only. What would you suggest?

    Why did I not get a wall charger with my apple watch?

    Curious about this I have the 42mm Series 3 GPS. I wasn't even aware it was supposed to come with a wall charger until I came across a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJP1FwyZLZQ it shows a wall plug, I looked at more videos and they all came with a wall plug. Mine didn't, doesn't even have a space for a wall plug.

    I ordered my wife's stainless steel series 4 back on October 20. Expected shipping is December 6-13th. I know Apple tends to ship earlier than their estimate, but this is my first time ordering through att.

    Hey guys and gals,

    Is anyone aware of a website where you are able to download pictures that are the perfect size for the Apple Watch s4 44mm or any Apple Watch in fact? I'm having problems cropping and editing to the right size and a resolution that looks good on my watch.

    For example sometimes it might be nice to wear a £500 digital Rolex right?!?

    Series 4 - Can you use your watch to airplay podcast (effectively using the watch as a remote)? The now playing feature will not let me control my phone when playing podcasts on my phone

    Hi all,

    I want to be able to control the podcast app, but it insists that I connect bluetooth headphones to the watch itself. Unfortunately my Oticon Opn2 hearing aids can only connect to my iphone.

    Even if I start the podcast on my phone, the now playing feature does pause, play, change volume, skip, etc.

    Either way, I'd really like to just push podcast commands through my phone like the spotify app does.

    Can I Buy the Watch 4 in Thailand and Use It in India?

    Read a lot of conflicting and confusing threads with regards to the Watch 3. Didn't find anything on the Watch 4 though. Is this be possible? I'm going to Thailand next month and buying it there will save me close to $200 (including the VAT rebate). This is with regards to the LTE version. My carrier in India does have the eSim option (it's just going to be way cheaper if I buy it in Thailand).

    Nike Run Club - exporting data

    I want to give Nike Run Club app a go on the Apple Watch and I understand getting the run data from the app is extremely difficult.

    Does anyone have a way of doing this? I want to ideally get the Nike Run Club data into Strava

    Messages in iCloud

    Anyone know if/when Apple Watch is going to be included in this? Sort of inexplicable that deleting a messages on iPhone doesn't do the same in the Watch, and vice versa.

    I had my S4 Hermes with Baneria band for two weeks but then decided I wanted to switch to the Indigo/Craie/Orange to match the cool exclusive face. Unfortunately that color combination has been sold out for a while and I am now on the list to get it in December, despite getting my Baneria on day one.

    In the meantime I have been using my S0 SS waiting for my replacement Hermes 4 to come. The advancements were obvious, screen, speed, GPS etc. But the point where I realized the huge advancements that were made was last night on a run. I went out to track a run, with just my AirPods and my watch. I was listening to music with the workout app tracking me. When I took my AirPod out of my ear, it took 15 seconds for the music to pause, and 10 seconds to resume. My run was also off by a quarter mile for the standard four mile loop I do. When I brought up the watch to pause the workout it would take a few seconds to show, but then another few for the UI to load with my workout data and interact with it.

    Anyway, I am really excited to get back to my S4. Looking forward to the cellular capability to take kite surfing and running with me.

    WiFi turns on automatically

    Whenever I turn my WiFi off on my Series 1, it turns back on after a while. I've been wondering why it does this. Any ideas?

    I just want to save battery and use Bluetooth

    Trying to decide whether to send it back for the gray-uniformity issue.

    It's easy for me to see both sides of the argument.

    OLEDs have a history of struggling with gray. Why should I look for faults in something that is otherwise so well-thought out and fully functional?

    I did pay quite a premium for a premium product, and I know there are many near-perfect displays out there. The issue wouldn't be nearly as big if it weren't for the fact that gray is such a common backdrop in WatchOS's design language. It's very easy for me to see everywhere, and my case isn't really THAT bad competitively.

    It's just so annoying to have to wait weeks for a replacement; plus I could get a unit that's even worse!

    Another question if I were to go through with replacing it: I bought this through my carrier. Should I go directly through Apple? I know there's potentially a bigger chance that they will actually attempt to solve the issue instead of just sending whatever's next in line from the current stock.

    Another possibility is that I could just send it back and spend this money elsewhere. I really love this this thing though. I'm pretty set on keeping it for a lot of reasons. One is that I love the feeling it gives me when I'm browsing the web on it. It reminds me of how I felt when I got my first Pocket PC back in 2001. It sounds dumb, since I can just whip out my phone and get a better browsing experience. It just feels like I'm not supposed to be able to do this; and do it this well. I love it.

    Is this sub for app recommendations?

    Bought my gf a watch but she's the kind of person to leave it with stock settings and apps, so I'm trying to help her out by finding some useful apps, tricks and tips especially for fitness and goal tracking. I did a search in this sub for this ^ but didnt find anything.

    So, is this sub a good place to get this info or is it more so sharing the customizable aspect of the watch? If not does anyone have any recommendations on where to go to stay up to date on any new releases on the software side of things. Cheers
