iOS Jailbreak [Release] The iPhone 1337 Team presents the 4039 jailbreak for 1.1

1)Internet verification with apple servers was initially added in iTunes 7.6 and has been in every release since. iTunes 7.5 and below however never required an internet connection for firmware 1.0-1.1.5 restores, and will always work. These iTunes versions require Windows XP SP2 or SP3 to run (a virtual machine will work if it has proper USB support). They WILL NOT work on Windows Vista or any newer OS. iTunes 7.4.1 is the period correct iTunes version (released 7th September, 2007). If you don't have any version of iTunes installed or have an older iTunes version then 7.4.1, you can just run the iTunes 7.4.1 installer. If you have an iTunes version newer then 7.5, you must downgrade iTunes. This requires you to delete the "iTunes" directory in C:/Documents and Settings/<your user name>/My Documents/My Music, then open the control panel, and uninstall everything from apple. Now you can run the iTunes7.4.1windowsinstaller.exe file.

2) Enter DFU mode on your iPod Touch

-turn off your iPod Touch

-press the power button for 3 seconds

-keep pressing the power button, but also press the home button for 10 seconds

-let go of the power button, but keep pressing the home button for 15 seconds

3) Connect your iPod Touch to your Windows XP computer, and open iTunes. iTunes will prompt you that your iPod Touch is in recovery mode and must be restored. Click okay. Move the mouse cursor over the Restore button. Press the shift key down, and click simultaneously. A windows explorer window will appear, select the firmware 1.1 ipsw file for iPod. The iPod Touch will restore to firmware 1.1.

4) The iPod Touch will boot up to the connect to iTunes screen. If you Wait a moment, and the connect to iTunes screen will disappear, turning into the lock screen.

Torubleshooting:

Problem: "Help! I get an error 1604 after iTunes says "waiting for iPod!" Solution: disconnect the dock cable from the computer. Close iTunes, and open it again. Put your iPod Touch into DFU mode again, and connect your dock cable to your computer. Try again until it restores.

Problem: "Help! I cant sync my iPod Touch with iTunes! It doesn't appear at all although it is connected!"

Solution: Open the iTunes 7.4.1windowsinstaller.exe Click Repair, and your iTunes 7.4.1 installation will be repaired. Once finished, your iPod Touch will show up in iTunes and you can sync again. If this still does not fix the problem, completely uninstall iTunes 7.4.1 by double clicking the iTunes 7.4.1windowsinstaller.exe and clicking uninstall. Install iTunes 7.4.1 again, and your iPod Touch will appear and be able to sync.

Load the address http://204.44.83.202:8080/ipwn in Safari on 1.1 iPod Touch

5) Connect your firmware 1.1 iPod Touch to the Windows XP computer if it is not still. Extract ibrickr_v0.91.zip. Run ibrickr.exe. Follow the steps to install the PXL daemon. When done, click "Applications", then "Install from PXL file". Browse for the OpenSSH-4.6p1.pxl file to install OpenSSH.

6) On your firmware 1.1 iPod Touch, open the Settings app. Tap "Wi-Fi" and connect to a network (does not have to have an internet connection). Once connected, tap the blue more info arrow icon to the right of the network name. Note your IP Address. SSH into your firmware 1.1 iPod Touch. The user is root, and the password is alpine. For Windows XP and above, use PuTTY.

7) Once logged into your iPod Touch, you can now launch Installer.app. Type "/Applications/Installer.app/Installer" and Installer will open on your firmware 1.1 iPod Touch. Feel free to install anything as normal. The AppTapp Unofficial and SimplySMP sources have been added already. To exit Installer, on your Windows XP computer (or whatever OS your using for the SSH connection) press down the ctrl and c keys together at the same time. You will be put back to the home screen. To open other apps. Type "cd /Applications && ls" over SSH. All of your apps will be viewable. Type "cd <whatever other app you want> && ls". Find the app executable, and type "./<app executable> to open it.

How this works:

This is built around the touchfree 111 source, with modified payloads. The payloads no longer patch SpringBoard (as 1.1.1 SpringBoard patches are incompatible with 1.1) as well as no longer checking and requiring firmware 1.1.1. This uses the libtiff exploit. To get around SpringBoard being unpatched, SSH is the only method available to launch your (invisible) 3rd party apps.

[Request] FULLY Replace Siri with Google Assistant

Before I get any further, I already have HomeHijack to activate assistant instead of Siri, InstantAssistant to have it start listening right away. But there are still things that don't work as they do with Siri. The two main things that don't work are using it from the lockscreen, as well as having it set alarms. When trying to activate it from the lockscreen, nothing happens, and when trying to set an alarm, it just says "I can't set alarms on iOS". No idea if this is possible or not, but figured I'd throw it out there. Thanks!

[Request] Flex 3 - Force a detailed description to be added.

Every time I go to Flex and look for stuff, it shows the name of the tweak but not what it actually does. It's very annoying. Maybe the developer needs to add a section that makes the creator of the Flex tweak they are uploading answer certain questions like "what does this tweak do?" And "what version is this compatible with?" Or "can you provide instructions on how to use this tweak?" Could be helpful but that's just my opinion.

Edit: The most annoying thing are the tweaks in a different language. I'm not able to copy the text to paste it into Google Translate, so maybe that ability could be added. Or just a translation built into Flex would be helpful.

[Discussion] What was the best version of iOS to jailbreak?

So I've been wondering about this. Basically, what version of IOS let you have the most freedom after jailbreaking. Or in other words, were there tweaks that you could do in iOS 9 jailbreak, and not iOS 10 jailbreak because of Apple patching something.

[Request] A tweak to delete battery usage stats upon reaching 100% charged

You used to be able to do this with Activate Command but I don't think it's been updated for iOS 11.

See here (not sure if filepaths/command is up to date)

Edit* TweakCompatible lists Activate Command as working for iOS 11 but I'm not sure if the command from iOS 9 would remain the same. If anybody would like to write me a new code that would delete the 3 files and respring my device, that'd be amazing.

I will update when I get home, get the command from my iPhone 5S, and charge my phone to 100%.

Edit2* So my old phone wont be of any use since apparently the battery log files have been moved. So I'm going to try to make my own command using previous comments I've found as reference along with the new filepath I've found the 3 files I need to delete. I'll leave this up for a little while before trying it out in case someone comes in and sees it and knows it won't work haha so THIS IS UNTESTED...

Edit3* IT WORKS. But note, everyone's application ID will be different. Mine is "8338971C..." for example. You're looking for "systemgroup.com.apple.powerlog"

Also, I added "killall backboardd" to the end to respring the device.

Edit4* so it seems that the phone needs a reboot (not a respring) to replenish those 3 files after deleting them. I did find that an LDRestart was enough but I don't know how to put that into activate command. Any help would be great.

iPhone SE doubleh3lix iOS 10.3.3

I suddenly realized that my iPhone doesn't have sound at all. Like, it's completely dead silent. Still everything works with headphones so it must have to do with the in-built speakers.

As already implied, the only thing I did with my iPhone today is listening to music with my headphones on spotify. That's it. Now I was at home and suddenly I realize that the sound is gone.

What can I do to fix this? Can I show you some more info?

I'm not sure if im the only one facing this problem, but I'm on Electra 11.1.2 and every so often ( I'd say 2-3 days ) my phone will freeze up randomly and I wont be able to hard reset, restart, or even do anything at all for about 2-3 minutes and then the phone will restart itself.

Anyone know what the issue is?

I have an iPad 4 with iOS 8.4.1 as the main OS and 10.2.1 as the secondary one. Before I've downgraded to iOS 8 and 10.3.3 was still my main, it worked perfectly fine. I've tried many fixes, such as rebooting, respringing, running iCleaner, reinstalling RocketBootstrap and Cydia Substrate, installing "CydiaRespringFix", but none of that worked. Are there any known fixes for this?

I complained about a tweak that CLAIMS it works on my iOS but actually doesn't. What's wrong with pointing out a mistake like that? If you're claiming it works on a certain iOS, then IT SHOULD. Stop lying about shit. Also why do mods remove your questions, claiming that it's something with an easy/common answer in the sidebar, but then it's actually NOT and they can't admit they're wrong, so they don't repost your question that they wrongfully removed and just waste your time in order to not admit that they were wrong?
