iPhone keeps duplicating video Posted: 24 Jul 2018 09:07 PM PDT I saved a video my friend sent me, it was hilarious but now my phone keep duplicating up to 100's of times and it's annoying. Anybody know how to fix this? Help would be amazing thank you! [link] [comments] |
I got a random Skype call, but I’ve never used Skype and it isn’t installed on my iPhone 7 Plus Posted: 24 Jul 2018 05:49 PM PDT I was playing a game (Injustice 2 Mobile), and out of nowhere I hear the famous Skype call sound interrupting my gameplay. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if it wasn't for the fact that I don't have Skype on my iPhone and I've never used Skype. Anyone know how this could've happened? [link] [comments] |

Anyway to recover photos from a phone that randomly stopped working? Posted: 24 Jul 2018 08:18 PM PDT I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I am super devastated, my iPhone 6 or 6s I can't remember, just stopped working. I have only had it for a year and keep very good care of it and it's in an otter box. Today it just stops working out of nowhere. I have tried everything I could find to try to get it to turn on. It won't. Is there anyway to get my photos back? I find it hard to believe in this age of technology that there is zero ways to get them off this phone. Any help would be appreciated. Edit: I do not have a backup. I didn't know until today that you could back your phone up to iTunes on your computer. So the only backup I have is from half a year ago before I ran out of storage in iCloud. [link] [comments] |
“iPhone is disabled” after drop Posted: 24 Jul 2018 07:32 PM PDT Just watched a coworker drop this from waist height onto the ground. Generic leather "wallet style" case on it. Picked it up and now showing this screen. Tried to turn off and turn on, but screen won't recognize touch input in order to "slide to power off". Anyone else experience anything like this? Pretty surprised by the disproportionate cause and effect. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Jul 2018 06:55 PM PDT I have an iPhone 8 and every time it's plugged in to charge, the screen acts up. You know when you get water on your phone screen and it's hard to swipe? It's like that. If I play a first person game like Minecraft, the screen shakes when I try to look around, and sometimes doesn't respond at all. This ONLY happens when it's plugged in. Sometimes it doesn't respond at all. [link] [comments] |
Does not change from 2G to 3G/4G in iPhone X Posted: 24 Jul 2018 12:28 PM PDT When I try using mobile data (rarely), it does not switch to 3g/4g although the signal should be full. It stays in 2G/EDGE. I have to keep toggling airplane mode on and off multiple times before it finally shows 3G/4G. (Sometimes toggle even 20-30 times). Restarted, turned on and off. Didn't work [link] [comments] |
I accidentally deleted a text conversation. How do I get it back? Posted: 24 Jul 2018 12:42 PM PDT I accidentally deleted my whole text conversation from my mom and it's got a lot of important info in there for my school and doctors. Is there anyway to get it back? :( Edit: I have an 8 plus and Sprint in case that makes a difference. [link] [comments] |
Trying to hook up my little girl Posted: 24 Jul 2018 12:25 PM PDT I have an old Iphone4 and me and my lady are thinking about giving it to our 14 year old daughter with a pay as you go calling plan set up on it. However, the problem comes in that I cant remember the lock code; is there a way to do a restore to defaults on this device without knowing the code, or is it a mere papers now??? [link] [comments] |
Recover permanently deleted photos? Posted: 24 Jul 2018 11:13 AM PDT Hi everyone- hoping someone can help. I have an iPhone 7. Recently I went digging for some old photos and found that a chunk of data from June 2017-September 2017 is completely gone from my phone. Also the same in my iPhoto on my Mac laptop. No backup that's recent enough to help (I know I know). Its possible I permanently deleted these photos but I've heard that there are data recovery options when you haven't backed up and the deleted photos file has been emptied/30 days has gone by. Has anyone ever been able to successfully do this either by themselves or with software? It's weird because it's a chunk of time rather than 1-2 photos. It's like I have photos from May and then nothing for June, July or August and then all the sudden again in September- present. Any advice would help. I am specifically looking for one photo that is irreplaceable and if I'm being honest I don't think I ever actually deleted it which is why it's so frustrating. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Jul 2018 10:12 AM PDT Hey guys, so here's the deal. I tried sending a message with an ungodly amount of emojis to a friend, and it, understandably, froze my app. The concerning issue is even after hard resetting my phone, I still can't access the app. I'm not entirely attached to the 15gb of message data I had, but I can't even get into the app to clear any of my threads. Are there any third party apps that can clear my messages for me? Any suggestions are appreciated. [link] [comments] |
iOS 11.4 (iPhone X) - photo edits revert or are not permanent Posted: 24 Jul 2018 08:16 AM PDT I'll spend time cropping and editing my photos using the editor in the Photos app and they will seem to save like normal. But lately the edits don't last, at some point I'll open Photos and all the edited photos will have reverted to their original state with no way I can find to recover them. If it matters, I don't sync to iCloud and the only interfacing I do is sending the pics via email or messenger app over WiFi/data. The only time I plug my phone in is to charge it or to my car to charge (though the car does recognize it as a "USB Drive"). I see from google searches that this has been an issue for some for several years, across multiple OS and phone versions. This is my third iPhone (6+, 6s, X) but first I've seen it. Apparently it's been submitted to Apple as a bug many times, but still happens. Any better ideas or solutions out there? [link] [comments] |
