Full storage makes no sense Posted: 23 Jul 2018 11:54 PM PDT Okay, I just got a warning that my storage is almost full (iphone SE 16GB, iOS 10.3.3... it hasn't allowed me to update for a while) In my settings it says I have 11.64 GB used and 538 MB Available, so I have a missing 4 GB right off the bat. The thing is that by adding my used storage as listed on those same settings it adds to a little less than 7 GB, including 1.57 for the iOS, that leaves me with half my storage unaccounted for. Any idea of what could be going on, and what I can do about it? I'm abroad for the next few months, and pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so taking it to an authorized dealer is not an option. iPhone lightning to AUX adapter Posted: 23 Jul 2018 02:47 PM PDT Hi all, I have one of the current generation iPhones which obviously has a lightning port instead of a headphone AUX jack. The phone includes an adapter to convert a set of AUX cable headphones to lightning so you can plug them into the phone. BUT I have a laptop that I want to be able to use my lightning earpods on. As the laptop does not have a thunderbolt port I need a thunderbolt to AUX adapter. But I can't seem to find any at all. Does this adapter exist? I'm an android user and there are a few things I need to know before I switch I use samsung pass for all my passwords, does apple have something like samsung pass or google smart lock for internet and apps? I use split screen alot, i know apple doesn't have the same thing but do they have any type of multi screen or multi tasking? I know apple is not customizable like android , but i have seen a few iphone x's With different icons down at the bottom. So you can change those now? Also wallpaper and lock screen picture as well? And is that it? No themes or anything? Also if there is anything else I should know or your personal experience. What’s the chance of saving my iPhone SE? Posted: 23 Jul 2018 01:02 AM PDT It got soaked in the washing machine... I pulled it out after 4 turns or so, and it wouldn't turn on. The display had light and dark stripes and then it shut down. I disassembled and dried it, then put into a bowl of rice. Now I'm waiting what's going to happen... what's the chance of the phone working? I had to take the tape holding battery out, how should I replace it?
