Restored manually from NAS Time Machine - now there are 'Icon?' files all over the computer Posted: 29 Jun 2018 08:07 PM PDT Recently restored all my files for my 2017 15" MacBook Pro failing for the 5th time in as many months (on it's third logic board now already - thanks Apple). Now I have a whole bunch of directories with files called Icon? - see image Please note that I don't have hidden files set to show currently. I'm assuming these are the files macOS uses to hold the folder icon - but they all seem to be renamed and visible? Any ideas of how to hide them all again. Posted: 30 Jun 2018 02:16 AM PDT Hi Im facing this weird facetime glitch. Whenever, I get a call in my phone, the mac will open the facetime app/camera but there is no accept call tab which usually shows up in the top right corner when u get a call. Is this happening to anyone else? Any fix? [link] [comments] |

Is there any possible explanation for this unreasonably slow i/o? The Mac used to boot in under 30 seconds before... [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jun 2018 09:28 AM PDT Anyone notice better battery life on Mojave? I was ony 2016 13in MacBook pro with touch bar for probably an hour and a half doing Photoshop stuff and doing school work and it went from 100 to 95. Before it would drop to 80. [link] [comments] |
