    iPhoneX Water damage?

    iPhoneX Water damage?

    Water damage?

First of all, I know what I've done wasn't very smart.

I have an iPhone X (64gb), bought it like 6 months ago but not from a store because they were sold out in my country. I bought it from someone who sold his iPhone and paid like 100$ more than the original price.

When I was on holidays yesterday, I took my phone to the pool and took some underwater photo's, I've let it dry for an hour and plugged it in to charge (I know it was the stupidest thing to do but clearly I wasn't thinking) It still worked though, nothing "visually" happened. Overnight I tried to make some pictures but my camera was kinda blurry. Then my Face ID stopped working. I plugged in my phone again that night, and then suddenly I had a black screen for a moment. After that I tried starting the phone and now I have a vertical pink line on the screen and sometimes a green one too. I know I'll have to pay a lot of money if they can fix it. But my question is, can they still fix it? Should I go to apple or something else?

    Got mine yesterday!

Got my X yesterday, seems amazing so far.

The battery life doesn't seem that long though, I left it at about 38% before going to sleep and woke up with it at 20%. (8 hours)

I'd like to know any apps that I should definitely get my hands on, and any things I should know, as this is my first apple product. Thanks :)

    Damaged screen?

    Posted: 22 Jun 2018 10:22 PM PDT

I got my iPhone X brand new at about the end of April. I put a tempered glass screen protector on it as well as an apple silicone case right away. I only take it out of the case to clean it which is like every 3 weeks. Recently i noticed, that at the right angle and lighting ,I see that the edge along the upper left of the screen is warped? (i can't really think of the right word to explain it) it's like dented in a way? It's really hard to see without the right lighting but it's there. At first i thought it could've been the screen protector but i took it off and that was not the case. If i slide my finger along the edge, i can feel the bumps. I just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem, and what i should do. I was gonna try and post a picture but it seems impossible to get it on camera.

    Should I get a iPhone X?

I know it's a great phone, and I'm blessed to be able to afford it, but is it smart to get one at this point? Apple may just announce something around the corner in the next few months so should I just wait?

Play music offline? Sounds simple enough, but I can't figure it out.

So, recently came back to Mac after a break. I am trying to do something that was very simple on my Android. I have mp3 files that I ripped from cds over the years that I put on my MacBook. I am trying to put them on my iPhone and play them offline while running. I know I can put them on my phone using Airdrop but where do they go? How do I find them and play them offline? What APP can I use to play them? Do I need to create a new file directory? This should be simple, maybe I am just missing a step. If it matters, I am on an IphoneX and a 2017 MacBook Pro. This should be an easy task, but I can't figure it out. Thanks!
