- iPhoneX GPS issues after upgrading to IOS 12. Google maps goes crazy sometimes. I have to restart the app to make it work. Anyone seen this behavior ?

| Posted: 27 Jun 2018 01:00 PM PDT Finally got a chance to bring my X in to the Apple store to check out the FaceID not working (it was bought at the beginning of December, so it was an early model, not sure if that contributed to the issue). Anyway, they did some diagnostics, confirmed the FaceID camera was having issues, and swapped it out for a brand new X then and there. Not happy with the problem, but their resolution definitely made up for it. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 27 Jun 2018 08:03 AM PDT When browsing sites like iMore, Macrumors, IGN, and other places similar I can feel heat below the camera, the temp in the room varies room 70-75 Fahrenheit, and my co-workers temp gun read the phone at a max of 92 degrees in the office. Yesterday evening just trying to use it outside it hit easily over 98 degrees and was 80 degrees out but at this time I was trying to load a page and it wouldnt load so I was forced to use Airplane mode. Guess I am wondering if anyone else has had this? And can anyone feel underneath the camera while doing moderate browsing for 5 - 10 minutes, (flipping between sites decently quick, and loading some posts) I would be enternally grateful if someone else had a temp gun... Posted: 27 Jun 2018 06:18 AM PDT So I've just updated to the new Beta and I wasn't sure if it was the hardware side of my phone messing up or whether it was just an issue with the software but since updating my phone won't be able to search anything when connected to WiFi or it is extremely slow? | iPhone X Dashcam = OIS Freaks Out Posted: 27 Jun 2018 05:14 AM PDT I tried to setup my X as a dashcam for timelapse / Hyperlapse videos, but the OIS just goes berserk and creates a really wavy video. Is this simply not achievable using an X, or do I need to take it in to the Genius Bar? I uninstalled my previous developer profile and installed the one for the public beta but it says there isn't any new update.
