| Posted: 02 Jun 2018 06:53 PM PDT My wife and I are calling it quits, and she decided to disable service on my phone, change our AT&T log in information, security code, everything. I've spent hours on the phone with AT&T explaining that I paid for my phone and what happened with my wife changing everything, and they've only suggested that I contact the police and show them receipts to fix the situation (which I don't have unfortunately). So now I'm left with an out of service iPhone X with a bad IMEI that I can't sell. If anyone has any suggestions of what I can do with the phone other than using it as an iPod I would greatly appreciate it, i.e. selling it for parts or something.. Thanks guys. [link] [comments]  |

| Weird pixel in new screen. Please help Posted: 02 Jun 2018 06:14 PM PDT Hello I just changed my iphone's screen and I have 2 pixels that are brighter than the entire screen. They're just white and do not change at all and they're obvious in any background color. However in black background they also turn black and cannot be noticed. I read about dead and stuck pixels and what I understand is that it's not a dead pixel because it lights up nor is it a stuck pixel because it's not green/blue/red. I want to understand what they are and is it the technician who repaired my phones fault as in he installed a defective screen? I did run dead pixels test once I received the screen and it was fine ( as far as I can tell) Also at the beginning I only noticed one pixel and then I noticed two. So I'm unsure if they were always there and I just noticed or they increased by time EDIT: If my description of the issue is not clear please tell me what I can do to clarify. | iTunes won't recognize a saved backup and I cannot restore my new iPhone Posted: 02 Jun 2018 03:25 PM PDT Recently I got a new phone. In preparation, I backed up my entire phone to iTunes and made sure to make an extra copy to a USB drive; however, when i try to restore my new phone the backup isn't seen as being an option. There are several reasons I think this might be the case -I had to download iTunes again and delete my old program because it had a missing component and would not repair -I renamed the file For restoring, I have find my iPhone turned off and my computer does register the phone as mine, under my name, with the same iCloud username. The backup is on both the USB and in my windows explorer under \users\name\appdata\roaming\apple computer\mobilesync I have windows 7 and the iOS is updated on both my new phone and I have the latest version of iTunes. | [My Music] How to consolidate my songs of unknown albums? Posted: 02 Jun 2018 08:25 AM PDT So I have 6 songs from an artist, all without an album name. When I click on the artist in My Music, it shows all 6 songs in 6 separate "Unknown Albums." What's annoying about it is that I have to click each one to see what song is in that "album." Also, when i hit "shuffle all," it won't play anything. This does not happen to artists that have actual album names. Any way to fix this? [link] [comments]  |
| Safari loading sites as read only after update Posted: 02 Jun 2018 05:17 AM PDT TIA for any help! I recently updated my iPhone 7 to IOS 11.3.1. Before the update my phone was working perfectly and I honestly only updated it to get rid of the annoying reminders and the red dot. After updating when safari loads a website it loads it as read only the majority of times. It's incredibly annoying. I've tried tweaking with the accessibility settings but it keeps happening.
