Home WiFi unreliable on iPhoneX but works great on everything else Posted: 26 Jun 2018 07:55 PM PDT My wife and I both have an iPhone X. When we connect to our home WiFi we both constantly have trouble with reliable connection. Pages just stop loading. We need to constantly disconnect and reconnect. We use our WiFi for our MacBooks, iPads, fire sticks, and everything else with no problems ever. Why is this happening? [link] [comments] |

Notifications play through Bluetooth headset when it is connected Posted: 26 Jun 2018 05:54 PM PDT I recently switched from an Android phone to an iPhone SE. I have a Bluetooth headset connected to my iPhone SE that I hang my neck at work so I can put it on when I get a call or want to listen to music. Unfortunately anytime the headset is connected all the notifications and even the ringtone play through the headset, so I'm missing calls and notifications unless I wear the headset 8 hours a day. Is there any way to tell the iPhone to play the notification sounds and ringtones through its own speaker while the Bluetooth headset is connected? [link] [comments] |
how to connect iPhone 4 to computer? Posted: 26 Jun 2018 01:30 PM PDT First off, please forgive me if I make mistakes in describing things here, I know very little about tech stuff. To the best of my knowledge, the iPhone 4 I have is version 7.1.2. It's an old one I had in my house, no longer using a SIM card, and I tried connecting it to my laptop via USB cable last night. My intention is to use this old phone to store all my music. Unfortunately, my MacBook won't recognize the phone. An article online suggested that I check my computer's System Information to see if the phone was showing up as connected there, but no luck. So with this in mind, does anyone have suggestions as to how I can get this old iPhone 4 to be recognized on my computer so that I can put music onto it? [link] [comments] |
iPhone 6 won't turn on AT ALL. Posted: 26 Jun 2018 11:21 AM PDT Yo. Back in December I upgraded from my iPhone 6. I haven't really used it since then except for a couple times in February for HQ. It worked fine then. Put away in a drawer since then. Now I've been trying to get it to turn on since yesterday. It's been plugged in overnight, I've tried the holding down power and home button, I've tried DFU mode. Nothing appears to be working! I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow so I am hoping I could fix this today. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |
How to fix autocorrect on my phone? Posted: 26 Jun 2018 07:20 AM PDT Every time I type in "god" autocorrect has this pesky habit of trying to force me to capitalize this. Clearly this is incorrect. If I type "You are a goddess." It makes no attempt to capitalize it. Huh. So how to fix this fundamental issue? Because clearly the word "god" need be lowercase in this age of awareness, but my phone will not stop pestering me about it like it's stuck in the Middle Ages and I must continually correct it. Posted: 26 Jun 2018 06:41 AM PDT My son currently has an iPod. From and apple ID and sync perspective it is part of my main Apple ID account (I have an iPhone). I just bought him his own iPhone and want to remove him from my Apple account so he has his own. Is it possible to move him to his own account AND keep all of his 'stuff' (pics, texts, game progress, etc)? Or will he be starting from scratch. Thanks [link] [comments] |
