    Jailbreaking to me is is something that I remember with a friend who is not with us anymore. I am from the UK, since year 7 in highschool my friend had an ipod touch 3G, and we jailbroke it with redsn0w, every weekend he would come over to my house just to jailbreak (because I was the only one he knew with a laptop at the time), We re jailbroke his iPod every weekend because we thought it was super cool to see all the text fly across the screen, plus we liked putting his ipod into DFU mode. Since then him and I have been jailbreaking our iDevices ever since we found out about redsn0w. My favourite jailbreak time was around ios 8. I remember he got his iPhone 6S 64GB and he jailbroke it (I cant remember which software) he installed so many tweaks and I was so jealous because I was stuck with an iPod 4th generation 16 gigabytes and could only install a few tweaks without my storage being full. Jailbreaking honestly made him and I best friends.

    He passed away this time last year at the age of 17, he did not reach his 18th birthday which was a week later. I moved to an android phone (OnePlus 3 to be exact.) but shortly after his death I found myself buying an iPhone 8+ because both me and him loved apple devices.

    I thank every jailbreak developer for making this possible, it brought me to meet my best friend that I'll never forget. Thank you coolstar and any developer of Electra for making an ios 11 jailbreak possible, even if there is a chance that an ios 11.3.1 jailbreak will not come I thank you for giving me all the memories I had with him.

    So I just replaced my battery and when I check battery health, it says "Service." If I open this page in settings, it says "This iPhone is unable to determine battery health." I thought the phone was detecting the hardware to make sure it was genuine, which would mean I'm out of luck. However, I did some research and found this comment:

    Had exact same issue. Took it back to a different Apple store yesterday for another replacement and it's now properly recognised. Guy there said the first store should have run post-fitment diagnostics!!

    So it seems like this happens to even OEM batteries and apple uses some software to fix it. Would it be possible for a tweak to do this same thing?

    I have been in the Jailbreak community since iOS 6 was first released. I got a brand new iPhone 4 for Christmas from my dad. It was an iPhone 4 8GB, running the first iteration of iOS 6. I vividly remember how I found jailbreaking. I had my iPhone 4 in my hand while watching some TV and I started thinking to myself if it were possible to bring Siri, introduced on the iPhone 4S, to the iPhone 4. That night, I went onto my dad's ole 2009 dinosaur of an iMac and started doing research until I found Redsn0w.

    I watched YouTube tutorials of how to Jailbreak iOS 6.0. At that time, I had no clue what an IPSW was. I followed the dudes step in the video, second by second, all just to bring Siri to the iPhone 4. Some of the OGs will remember the Redsn0w logo that would popup on the device and then going to the screen that had all the scrolling code going down. When I saw that code, I actually freaked out. I started thinking that I screwed up my only iPhone. I thought my dad was gonna come how and find out it freaked me out soooo much. Turns out, I just had to wait like 2 more minutes and things were perfect. That was the first encounter I had to jailbreaking.

    Couple years later, I entered the 8th grade. People at school kept seeing all these cool and weird tweaks I had on my phone and continuously started asking me to Jailbreak their phones. Well, that sparked a friendship that I still have today. I am now graduated from High school and working as an IT Support Technician. However, my friend is now going into his senior year and still has the original iPhone I jailbroke for him, not as a daily driver, but as a token to remember what started our friendship.

    This community has also brought me tons of different friendships and encounters that I have never experienced before. So many kind and helpful people to help out. I feel like this community, excluding the "wen eta" bois, has brought alot of positivity and relations to people like no other community has. It truly is all thanks to Jay Freeman (Saurik), Coolstar, Pangu, TaiG, and several other Jailbreak developers. Also, a huge thank you to the tweak developers for their creativity and the motive to create something to make people feel like kids again.

    [Update] CCModules v1.2-13 - four new modules

    CCModules v1.2-13 includes four new modules which are Lock Device, Google Link, App Store Search, and magicApp. The Google Link module launches google.com from Safari when pressed. A few icon changes were made as well; one being the Location Services module is now blue.

    CCModules is on the BigBoss repo, but if you don't want to wait for the update, you can download the latest version immediately from my repo http://jb365.github.io/

    [Question]Electra ios 11-11.2.6

    Before the downvoting begin`s I'm not demanding a release it's just a simple question, is there a reason why the Electra team does not release an interim jailbreak for those on ios 11-11.2.6 and then when the time comes update it to work on 11.3.1.

    I'm sure there is a load of people who take advantage of it even on the lower firmware`s and it would also hopefully put a stop to people releasing fake jailbreaks

    [Request] Block jailbreak detection for Blackberry UEM client?

    My company requires Blackberry UEM client to access work email from our devices. Unfortunately, it seems to have pretty sophisticated jailbreak detection. I tried Liberty, but it still detected my jailbreak. I even rebooted to a non-jailbroken state, and the app STILL detected the jailbreak (don't know how).

    Any thoughts on how to bypass this?

    /u/ryley_angus is this one you have taken a look at by chance?

    Thanks in advance for any help!

    EDIT: I'm using a 6S on 10.3.3 if that matters.

    What I want is, my iPhone to share the internet connection. My laptop fried the WiFi card. You get what I mean.

    [Question] How do you fix the Houdini Beta 3r1 (no computer) rebooting all the time?

    Every time I click the ignore button for the warning it always reboots. I know that it's supposed to do that, but I've been trying for 4-5 hours and nothing has worked. I've tried reinstalling the app, going into airplane mode and turning off Siri, and waiting at the warning screen for a minute or two and it hasn't helped. Help would be appreciated.
