Posted: 20 Jun 2018 10:58 PM PDT When I open the camera app, the back camera just shows a black screen and the selfie camera works fine but the back camera works fine in other apps like Snapchat and WhatsApp. Also, the phone fell from my bed yesterday. I got some issues with the messages on my iPhone. When i get a text, i can read it on the locked screen and so on. But when i try to enter the message-app on the iPhone its just all blank. How do i fix this? | iPhone 6s Dropped And No Longer Cuts On Posted: 20 Jun 2018 08:24 AM PDT Hello everyone, yesterday I dropped my iPhone 6S and when I picked it back up the screen was still lit up but it was black. I assumed I would just need to buy a new screen and replace it, but within 5 minutes the phone cut itself off and will no longer cut back on. I would just have replaced the screen, but plugging the phone into the computer no longer recognizes it's there. I know it's not a problem with the cord or computer as it still recognizes my sister's phone when I test it. The phone was previously cracked with the front camera exposed, although I don't believe there was any water damage as there weren't any issues before the drop. I'm wondering if it's something that has come disconnected internally. I'd open it myself to see but I would need to buy a new screen because I wouldn't be able to put the current one back in. Do any of you think it's repairable and reseating/replacing something like say the battery would fix it, or should I just buy a new phone? Also, if possible, would there be any way to transfer any of the data from the broken phone if it cannot connect to the computer to make a back up? Even when I am looking at the phone, the ringer doesn't get lowered nor there is any dimming of the display. I have restarted, done hard reset, had a Face ID reset, removed the Beta profile (I have installed 11.4.1 (Public Beta)), but nothing seems to have worked. Any suggestions on how to fix this? This is a replacement one because my SIM card and other phone were broken, so I filed a claim and this is the replacement phone from the insurance claim. When I've used twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and podcasts, it's like my phone just crashes. It just turns off! I've tried restarting it manually, but it'll still crash.
