    I've tried an iPhone X at a store and I didn't feel comfortable with the gestures and I'm not sure if I prefer having facial recognition over the fast and trusted fingerprint sensor. Do you guys think that the iPhone 8 will be the last phone from Apple to feature Touch ID? If so, I might consider forking out on an iPhone 8 Plus in that beautiful limited red colour, even though I've got a working iPhone 6S Plus currently just because I feel Touch ID is very convenient and important to me.

    Is there a way to track his phones movements? Search and rescue would like to pinpoint a search location. Police not able to ping phone. Any way to find it.

    Safari now needs JavaScript on? iOS 11.4

    So, I've been getting a ton of pop up ads on safari about winning free stuff that just lock up Safari. I've goofed around with JavaScript on and off. When JavaScript is off, I don't get those pop up ads. However, now websites don't fully load. For example, I don't get graphics when I go to ESPN.Com (I don't use their app) with JavaScript off, but I do when it is on. This is new. My wife's phone doesn't need JavaScript on to display graphics on safari on that site (or others)

    I have: 1) Reset the phone and restored from iCloud backup. Still same issue.

    2) Cleared website data and cache. Still same issue

    I just want those pop up ads to go away. I have a feeling JavaScript is part of it, but I need any advise to help fix this.

    Spotify is causing my phone to heat up when on the charger. And when not charging Spotify absolutely kills my battery this happens on iPhone 7 and X.

    I have messaged there support but they seem to want to ignore it.

    iPhone 7 Plus Button

    Hello.
    I've been an owner of iPhone 4,4s,5 and 5s but after that i switched to Samsung. Thinking about picking up iPhone 7 plus. But was wondering if i7 plus still has a clickable button or is it only press sensitive?

    No longer able to "Remove from Recents" from iMessage? iOS 11.4

    Used to be able to go in and clear out random group chats from the history when beginning to type out the To: section of the iMessage anything prior to 11.4 update. I like keeping it clean. You can still do it within the mail app, just not iMessage.

    Former instructions on cleaning up:

    1. Create a new message and begin to type the name or number of the contact you wish to remove.

    2. When it appears in the list, tap the circled "i" button on the right to bring up the contact info window. Here, you'll find a red button labeled "Remove from Recents". As its name suggests, tap it to delete that unwanted number once and for all.

    3. Once the information has been removed, you'll be returned to the New Message window. This time, you'll notice that the unwanted number is gone, and that only the correct information from your Contacts app is displayed. Repeat as necessary.

    No longer able to do this in iOS 11.4, anyone else seeing this too? Maybe I am missing something but this is annoying.

    Stolen IPhone just showed up in. Hong Kong

    I had my phone stolen two months ago, find my iPhone is active so I put it in lost mode and scheduled it to be erased. This morning I got a email saying the phone had been found but it is now in Hong Kong. I changed my Password just wondering what else I should do. I am sure the phone is gone and will never be seen again but just wondering what else could happen.

    I just got a new replacement in the mail because the one I had was having reception issues and I was under the impression that the new one would be a brand new one not a "certified replacement" has anyone else experienced any issues when getting these replacements? I'm more worried about switching to this one knowing it's not out of the box.

    Is the iPhone 8 the last phone that will have Touch ID?

    I currently have the iPhone 6S Plus, and I am thinking of an upgrade. This phone has the best in my whole life, in terms of Apple phones. Looking at current models, it seems that the 8 is that last phone that will be coming out with the Touch ID, and I personally don't like it.

    Like I have tried using the X with Face ID, and I just cannot seem to like it, at all. The fact that I am able to unlock my phone IN my pocket with my finger before it comes out with previous models is something I love.

    I am also worried about unlocking my phone at night when it's dark, with Face ID.

    Anyways, there will be no more models using Touch ID, right? 😢

    So my Touch ID fixed itself?

    I bought my iPhone 5s about a year ago, and Touch ID never worked. I figured the home button was swapped at some point, so a bummer but nothing I could do. Then when I upgraded to 11.4 last night, it suddenly started working! I can't find any information in bug fixes or any other cases where this happened, but I guess I'll take it.
