Has anyone ever have trouble updating over 70 applications at once?

    Posted: 30 Jun 2018 11:53 AM PDT

I have an iPad Pro with over 70 applications that need to be updated but failing when I choose to "Update all". updating one at a time seems to work fine. Mind you that I'm on wifi.

iTunes 12.7 doesn't support managing applications. Ive installed iTunes 12.6 but I'm getting an error that my library was created using a newer version of iTunes, so I've returned to 12.7.

Any advice would be awesome. Otherwise I guess its time to do some spring cleaning.

    Thanks

    D

Gonna pick up a new iPad in the next few days

    Posted: 30 Jun 2018 01:41 PM PDT

Is a new pro supposed to be coming out soon. Should I wait? Deciding between the iPad 6th gen or the newest pro. Knowing if a new pro is slated to come out soon would be a big help. Thanks

Is it worth it to update to iOS 12 beta?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2018 11:47 PM PDT

I am currently on iOS 11.4 on an iPad Pro 10.5". Was wondering whether I should sign up to the beta program and update to iOS 12. Are there any benefits of doing so?

Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions. I am not going to update since I use my iPad for note taking and storing a lot of important stuff. Gonna wait for the official release.

Help with iPad for college along side my MacBook

    Posted: 30 Jun 2018 06:54 AM PDT

So I️ am going to buy an iPad Pro for college along side my MacBook. I️ mostly want it to take handwritten notes with the pencil and maybe save some money by renting ebooks which will be a little bit less in cost then renting physical copies of textbooks or buying used. I️ plan on getting the iPad Pro 10.5 inch. I️ am a packaging science major. I️ plan on saving my notes on a cloud and using the storage on the iPad to have textbooks. Besides textbooks on there I️ will have basic social media and a few other apps. My question is should I️ get the 64 gb one or the 256 gb one? I️ am going to the apple store in about an hour so if anyone could please let me know I️ would super appreciate it. Thank you!

iPad Pro 10.5 case help for college

    Posted: 30 Jun 2018 10:30 AM PDT

So I️ bought the iPad. I️ am looking for a case for college use. Basically I️ want it to protect well for any drops, scratches, etc. I️ want to be able to write notes comfortably with the Apple Pencil. I️ am a bit iffy on if the case has a screen protector because I️ have heard it takes functionality out of the pencil. I️ also would like to see it have a temporary pencil holder as I️ plan on getting a pencil case for it. And if you guys have any other accessories that have helped you and your experience with your iPad in college or in everyday life, please let me know about those. Thanks y'all!

How to add a pop up note in a pdf? If I use adobe, I can add note that remains hidden, and pops up when I tap it. Looking for something similar in notability.

Should I buy a screen protector for my Ipad 2017 if I use it for gaming and youtube?

    Posted: 30 Jun 2018 01:02 PM PDT

I use my Ipad for games such as Vainglory and PUBG mobile and some occasional youtube/twitch. Should I buy a tempered glass screen protector to protect it against scratches from my fingernails?

Anyone here using a bedside neck mount for on the iPad with IOS 12? Wifi seems to freeze or slow down clamped onto it

    Posted: 30 Jun 2018 12:40 PM PDT

    https://www.amazon.com/Tryone-Gooseneck-Nintendo-Samsung-Overall/dp/B01AUQ33LG/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_bs_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=5PQYEPCC4CMFNQF08SZA

At first I thought it was just my iPad or something I did wrong so I downgraded back to 11.4 and it worked fine. But after upgrading again the wifi still freezes up or slows down, but only when clamped to this thing. Does putting pressure on the sides of the iPad decrease wifi signal or something?

iPad Pro 10.5 doing weird battery things

    Posted: 30 Jun 2018 05:22 AM PDT

I have coconut battery and it said my wear on my iPad Pro 10.5 is at 17-18% after 140 cycles. Went to Apple and they say I'm at 94% health on their diagnostics. I'm getting large battery drain on 11.4 at the moment. I used to get 10% per hour of surfing, now I get 15-20% per hour. If I use a drawing app, such as Procreate, I get 20-30% an hour drain. I'm wondering if I should get on the public beta for iOS 12 because I've heard good things about the battery and usage. It's all just weird. I got an iPad because I don't like being tethered to the power outlet, but it's looking like I've got to start thinking about it. Anyone else's iPad doing similar drain?

[Question] Is a $450 first gen iPad Pro 128 GB worth to buy?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2018 04:06 PM PDT

Hello! I need some advice about this used first gen iPad Pro 128 GB. Mainly use for school as I am going to college in the fall. Prefer 12.9 for the size and comfortable split screen. I can't really afford a new 12.9 iPP, but I wonder if the first gen will still run smoothly and do the magic with the A9x. Is this still worth $450?

    About Ipad prices.

    Posted: 30 Jun 2018 12:35 AM PDT

I'm planning to buy either a 2018 ipad or 2017 ipad pro then sell it when the new ipad pro arrive in September. I need to buy now because I need it for studying ASAP. So, my question is: which one will have better resale value? Which one is expected to have price cuts once the new ipad pro arrives? I don't think they will cut the price of the 2017 ipad pro, this will affect the sales of the 2018 ipad or Maybe not??

Edit: where I live. Ipad 2018 wifi only at 32 gigs costs about $396 while the pro wifi only at 64 gigs costs around $595.

iOS split screen is already the perfect software solution for a foldable iPad.

A foldable iPad would be a most welcome addition to the line up.
