    Breeding/evolution strategy game?

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 11:22 PM PDT

Hello! I'm looking for a game kind of like Niche. Breeding games like DragonVale are of really common, but I'm more interested in games that like...rather than the system being X + Y = Z pet and it's the same every time, something that would be a spectrum between X and Y like irl genetics, and there's no preset outcome. Something with a huge focus on breeding for either visually appealing pets or pets with stats that impact play mode. If that all makes sense.

Personally I have zero interest in PvP so if there are other uses for the pet that'd be great, but really I'm just looking for anything like this I guess. It's hard to sift through everything in the store!

ETA: I thought I'd let y'all know I found something that's almost what I'm looking for: Cosmic Eggs. It has the issue of preset pet art when breeding, but it does seem to have a very customizable stat inheretence system. Will be trying it out along with all these other suggestions!!

[HELP] Finding a fish eating game made by a Redditor

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 06:53 PM PDT

I need help finding the name of an IOS game that was posted on Reddit a couple years. The game consisted of eating fish that were smaller than you and your fish grew bigger as you ate more and more fish. When you died your high score would show a map with a circle and it would show a radius where you had the high score (like it would show you would have the highest score in a 2 mile radius from your location). I've been looking for this game for a while now

why it seems that almost no one buy premium games on mobile platforms?

    Posted: 05 Jun 2018 08:27 AM PDT

let me explain: there is a wide variety of games on ios, and an ipad is a joy for an adventure game lover. you have all the classic remastered (day of tentacle, full throttle, monkey island, broken sword, grim fandango) and the new series (like the room), all telltale games, some platform exclusives (monument valleys, alto's, old man journey and so on) and loads of other great quality titles (bastion, transirtor just to name a few). i think it's a great plaftorm but still is under represented, this sub has relatively few users, reddit is one of the biggest people aggregator, there are very few websites dedicated to gaming on ios (only toucharcade as far as i know, even if ign and other portals have a mobile section usually).

my question in simple: the plaform is very good for non console gaming. why it seems so underlooked?

Did Moga Ace Power Mfi controller break with latest iOS update?

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 03:33 PM PDT

My Moga Ace Power isn't working anymore with my iPhone SE. Trying to figure out what the issue could be and the only thing I can think of is the iOS 11.4 update breaking compatibility.

I doubt there are many Moga Ace Power users out there but wondering if anyone else had a similar experience.

Gamevice button problem on iPhone 8?

    Posted: 04 Jun 2018 12:32 PM PDT

Picked up a Gamevice controller for my iPhone 8 today but it looks like the buttons only seem to work 50% of the time when trying to play games. I've noticed I can push a button to it's lowered state without it triggering; it only triggers if I then push down on it beyond that state. You can't use your thumb to push the buttons consistently like this.

Do I have a faulty Gamevice controller or is it like that on all iPhone 8 phones? I'm returning it to the store tomorrow so just wondering whether to trade for a replacement or a refund. I can't seem to find any other pads like this either.

Do you game on the iPhone or the iPad? I find myself going back and forth between which device I should use as my primary device for games. Would like to hear from others their thoughts on this. Thanks!
