    First, this isn't a "should I update" post. I'm not opposed to running a beta on my main device. I'm wondering how things are going for the X, specifically performance, battery life, etc. On 11.4, my X can barely last me half a day on a charge. Only happened once I updated. On 11.3.1, I could get 2 days.

    [Question] Anyone having issues with their digital Apple TV remote on iOS12 beta 1?

    I've got a second gen Apple TV and for whatever reason, my iPhone 6 Plus remote doesn't want to connect to the Apple TV. Everything else works fine - I can stream tunes from Apple Music to the Apple TV via AirPlay no problem, etc. Wondering if anyone else is having the same issue and if you've found a workaround.

    I've done a hard reset and all that. I can't be bothered to do a wipe and restore because the issue is small and I can live without it either way, but it'd still be nice. Is this a known beta 1 issue?

    Anyone still having this problem? I'm seeing a lot of users have positive feedback regarding gps lock on on iOS 12 b2. But for me the problem still persist.

    [bug] When I start up the phone (iPhone X GSM) I do not get prompted for the SIM PIN; however, it remains locked until I go to Settings->Phone->SIM PIN. I’ve tried disabling/enabling, force reboots, etc. if I disable it after entering the pin the option is grayed out until it’s rebooted.

    [Question] Is the phone supposed to vibrate on every phone unlock?

    I do not know if this is a bug or a feature. If it's a feature, can I turn it off?

    EDIT: It vibrates only when I unlock with Touch ID with or without opening a notification. For passcode, it doesn't vibrate at all.

    so when you cast something from your phone if you kill the app it doesn't show the cast icon anymore and you have to turn on/off airplane mode to see the cast icon again

    [BUG] iOS 12 Audiobook not keeping position on app reload.

    It remembers position while the app is in memory. As soon as it drops from memory though, the audiobook starts over from the beginning. I've tried re-syncing the audiobooks in iTunes with no luck. Anyone else run into this and/or find a solution?

    [Discussion] Is Apple going to remove the new iPad gesture in the golden master and only keep it for the iPad with Face ID

    iOS 11 Beta 1-2 had drag and drop on the iPhone but they removed it in beta 3, I think. It could be possible that this also happen to the gestures because the home Button would be useless. Or they should also implement the gesture on the iPhone 8 & older

    [BUG] frequent resprings on beta 2

    i've been getting super frequent resprings on beta 2. nearly all of them happen while listening to music in my car, connected to a bluetooth-to-aux accessory. the resprings usually happen when i press a hardware button on the accessory to make the music stop. occasionally my phone will respring when skipping a song from the lock screen or with the hardware button, still while connected to the bluetooth accessory. this is all on my iphone x.

    i've already reported this bug in feedback assistant. has anyone else encountered it/something similar?

    No longer a dedicated photo button on iOS 12. If older versions take a photo, the notification will still come up.
