Remove Macbook Pro Screen to use as a desktop Posted: 02 Jun 2018 07:12 PM PDT My 2012 Macbook pro screen is shattered, can I uninstall the screen and plug the base into an HDMI display without harming the computer, or will it not run without a screen attached? [link] [comments] |
New to using MacBooks here. How do I reset my MacBook Air? Posted: 02 Jun 2018 08:35 PM PDT I recently was gifted a a 13" MacBook Air (2017) by my das and used it only for about a day before deciding I needed a laptop with bigger storage capacity. I plan on selling it so before I do that I should remove my user profile on the laptop so the new owner can make his/her own the next time it's turned on. How do I "factory reset" it? I haven't stored anything or made any changes to it whatsoever, just opened it up and tried it out. [link] [comments] |
No click on power button (MacBook 2017 15-inch) Posted: 02 Jun 2018 06:08 PM PDT I have encountered a problem with my power button (the one that also serves as a TouchID login). When I pressed it, it clicked once and then it stopped clicking. There's a slight movement on its right side when I press it but apparently it doesn't power on the computer. TouchID works though. I'm not sure if it's a butterfly-type or not. Is this something fixable? Maybe something got under it? Has someone encountered a similar issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. 256gb Macbook Pro Actual Storage? Posted: 02 Jun 2018 06:29 AM PDT So, a 256gb Macbook Pro's SSD is actually 250.69gb. When factory resetting the Mac and reinstalling High Sierra, what should the available storage be? [link] [comments] |
