    I'm sure this is complained about a lot. But why is it that I have to stop what I'm doing to let a call ring, or decline it? It's so annoying that there's no way around it besides declining the call or keeping Do Not Disturb on constantly.

    I wish this was something Apple addressed. Should've been years ago.

    Walkie Talkie App?

    We use actual walkie talkies (a Kenwood one with 16 channels) at work, but don't have enough for everyone and don't want to buy more (yet). Is there an iOS walkie talkie app that connects to real channels? I've tried Zello and a few others and none use real channels. Do iPhones/iPads even have a radio chip or whatever it's called to access real channels?

    Might be a stupid question, but what was the original purpose of the “S” lines? Like 6s? Is the line discontinued with the 7?

    So there are the 4s, 5s, 6s etc. Are they basically just upgraded from their 4, 5, and 6 counterparts? Will the "s" phones be made in the future do you think? Why or why not?

    This probably gets posted a lot and I tried searching for a solution but couldn't find anything. So I dropped my IPhone and apparently the screen cracked and the wiring broke. The phone still turns on and connects to iTunes but there is a password required I can't enter it because the screen doesn't work at all. It is running iOS 6. Is there a way to view the screen via a program to click in the password so that I can check what photos are left on there?

    iPhone SE or 5S

    After many years of drops and abuse my iPhone 5S finally bit the bullet and became unusable. I've no choice but to replace it. I am on a budget and am a sorta clumsy guy, while my daughter can be borderline malicious towards property, so I need a durable phone. I'm getting mixed reviews so far as to the iPhone SE being as durable as the 5S or being less durable. can any of you advise me on the durability aspect between the two? I've seen conflicting drop test videos and I saw the one report from square trader referenced continuously when searching online.

    How do you adjust the brightness slider during auto-adjust

    During the auto-brightness slider animation, it doesn't appear you can't control the brightness manually until it's done.

    I'm frequently commuting and the lighting will change drastically as we weave through traffic. Sometimes I'll open up the control center and have to wait for the brightness to go up, then down, then back up before it's finally done and I can put it at my desired brightness.

    I don't want to turn auto-brightness off. It's handy the vast majority of the time. I just want to be able to control it myself when needed like the I can rest of the time. It's only annoying when I'm trying to move it and it's just slowly creeping either direction, ignoring my input, mocking me.

    Is there a way to disrupt that animation? Or any other way to avoid this (minor) annoyance?

    How many generations of the iPhone back is still a viable purchase?

    I'm wondering if I should buy an iPhone SE, 7 or 8. How long will it last in terms of updates, lags and overall quality?

    I have had the Sony Xperia Z5 compact for about 2 years now and it's very laggy (I have a lot of photos on it though), and I'd like to not get this problem again.

    Buy Iphone 8 now or wait

    My wife's birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. I usually get her a new phone every other model number. She started with a 4, skipped 5, got 6, then skipped 7. I'm thinking about getting an 8 next. But, I believe the new 9 or XI or whatever is coming out in September. So I'm on the fence if I should get the 8 now, or if I just get her something else this year then get her the 9/XI for Christmas.

     

    I was wondering if you guys can nudge me either way. To start off:

     

    Pros for buying now:

    - Cheaper than a new release

    - I don't have to think of a different gift

    - New phone sooner

    - 9/XI will probably be expensive or have limited stock on Christmas

    - Performance upgrade from 9/XI would probably be unnoticeable compared to 8

     

    Pros for waiting:

    - Latest model

    IMEI blocked??

    Hey all. I'm looking for some advice re blocked IMEI on o2 (UK) - I bought a phone a couple months ago off FB selling page. I checked the IMEI number, all safe. Met up and paid the cash in person after checking the phone was fully working... fast forward a couple months and the IMEI is blacklisted, as the phone has been reported as lost/stolen. I don't have a paper trail of the transaction and the FB account I no longer have access to. Is there anyway I can get the phone working again?? :(

    I'm looking for a leather flip case (like those wallet cases they make) but I don't need the actual wallet card holders. Just a nice leather case that has a cover which flips back to protect my screen. Ideally a case I can slide my phone into rather than having to click it in and out of a plastic holder. Any suggestions?

    Apple Charging Case for IPhone 7 on the 8

    So I saw the charging case while looking for a new case for my IPhone 8, and really liked the look of it and have been contemplating a charging one for a while for work. Is it worth the $100 dollar price tag and would it work just as well with my 8?

    What browser app would you suggest for someone who didn't use a mac?

    It seems that the facetime notifications crashing bug has not been fixed yet.
