[Feature] music works again! Posted: 02 May 2018 09:37 AM PDT Since the original betas of 11.0 featuring airplay 2 I have been plagued with media struggles. For example, streaming music from Apple Music to airpods - more times than not if I turned the screen off after the device was unlocked the music would stop playing. The weird thing is that it wasn't stopped or paused but instead in a state of limbo trapped between output sources. The fix was just turning the screen on and switching from the airpods to the phone and then immediately right back to the airpods. I could also force close the music app to fix it. When playing through a wire, like plugging into my car ( iPhone -> lightning to 3.5 mm jack -> aux cord to car) I would get a different problem. It would be caused by the same thing though ( locking the display) but now the music would stutter for a second and then randomly play what sounded like various segments of the song overtop of each other at varying tempos. The solution now was to just simply unplug the adapter and plug it back in and press play. These were random occupancies and didn't happen all the time by any means but it seemed like once it happened once I would have to restart my phone in order to prevent it from happening everytime I unlocked and locked the phone. (Operating it through the lock screen appeared to be okay) I'm am so happy to say that through several hours of listening today and yesterday and countless unlocks and locks, I have had zero issues with any music playback!! It seems like Apple could be finally ironing out all the persistent bugs iOS 11 has brought to work towards what could be the beginning of the infamous snow leopard release! [Bug] Enable Night Shift with Classic Invert at the same time. iOS 11.4b3dev Posted: 01 May 2018 04:14 PM PDT It is a bug because it's not supposed to let both settings as on.
