| Posted: 04 Apr 2018 11:51 PM PDT Hi guys I have a iPhone 6 that started turning it self on and off. It reboots, gets to the white background with the black apple logo and restarts again. It is running iOS 11.xx I tried replacing battery and screen, didnt help. When i try to restore/reset to factory settings both in recovery/DFU mode and regular way through iTunes it gets to the end of the restoring and fails when the iPhone restarts to finish the restoring. I have tried to update my USB drivers for mobile support for the and for the ports, didnt help. I see that there is some software available like DrFone but they cost $59 and I dont know if they could resolve the issue. Any clues? Is it firmware, hardware? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 04 Apr 2018 11:02 PM PDT someone please help me i accidently deleted me and my boyfriends text messages!! it was a complete accident and it makes me so sad to think about. i have an iphone 6s and i has not backed it up and my computer is not linked to my messages account. i know i know, dumb choices made in regards to both of those things, but it's just really sad. i already contacted my cell phone provider and they said they don't store my texts anywhere. so i have no where else to go. i don't know if i should trust a third party app because i feel that they're sorta sketchy and i don't want all my info out there. i know it was dumb of me to not have a back up but there's not much i can do now so i'm begging anyone to please give me some help!! he still has all the texts if that's any help? is there a way to transfer them from his phone to mine?? if the answer to these questions is no, and i just need to get over it, please just tell me. it's really hard to think about, makes me want to cry every time it comes up. i know it seems dumb but those little things are important, simply looking at one of his old texts to me could make my entire day turn around and now i don't have any of that. please, someone, anyone help me out here!!!!!! | Trouble with screen recording audio. Posted: 04 Apr 2018 09:59 PM PDT I have the audio turned on and it records the audio and my voice but when playing a game it will not record the mics of other players in the game. So the recording sounds as if I'm talking to myself. Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 04 Apr 2018 07:46 PM PDT around my home button there's a mark of what would appear to be my thumb print but along that it does not senor my movements to swipe up or type because of the thumb mark surrounding the home button when I press on the mark it moves I am thinking this is water damage . | Same email on PC, ipad, and iphone but the iphone uses 2.4 gb more of space. Posted: 04 Apr 2018 05:29 PM PDT I use my work email on my home PC, ipad, and iphone. For some reason my phone keeps filling up with old sent email on my phone. PC and ipad both don't use up more than about 200 mb but my iphone storage says 2.2 gb. I believe it is safe to assume that I have some settings different on my phone and ipad which is leading to the issue but I can't find what is causing it. I delete emails on any device and they sync with the PC and ipad but even deleting on my phone doesn't lower that amount of storage used and I believe they are just coming back. Redownloading. My emails are saved on the work server but am I backing up my emails in icloud or something and when my iphone syncs again they all come back? Just throwing stuff out there because I can't seem to find the setting that is causing the difference. Thanks. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 04 Apr 2018 02:42 PM PDT Hey, pretty mad. My iPhone 6+ screen just got replaced and now it's not turning on, I get to the Apple logo and then straight to either dfu or recovery, can't tell the difference. The screen is still on in that mode, but not showing anything. I have tried restoring firmware and updating, etc. Nothing works. It goes to update, reboots the phone to try and apply the update, I get a spinny circle on the screen for a second then straight into either a bootloop or back into dfu/recovery. The iTunes error is 4013, from what I understand it's hardware related, although I've never messed up the hardware, just a screen replacement, which I've done over 100+ of. Everything I've read online says it's the NAND and it needs to be rewritten. I don't have the experience for this so I really hope this isn't the issue. [link] [comments]  |

| Iphone SE stuck at 1% after replacement battery and screen Posted: 04 Apr 2018 02:09 PM PDT My phone got water damaged (screen blew out but phone worked fine) so I got a replacement screen and bought a battery while I was at it. Assembly went well, turned on iphone and it works great, except for the fact that the battery meter reads at 1%. Charging my phone does nothing at all, does not show that it's charging. The phone lasted about an hour like this, so I opened it up and unplugged the battery and plugged back in and now it says its dead, but acknowledges when I'm charging it. It just won't turn on, and has been charging a while. Anyone know what would cause this bizzare symptom? It's not the battery plug guard, I took that off and checked, same problem. | iPhone X unresponsive / delayed to any input on the power button Posted: 04 Apr 2018 09:48 AM PDT Not sure if entirely relevant, but I disabled the "tap screen to wake" feature and the "raise to wake" feature from day 1 of owning this iphone X. About 40% of the time, if I try to access my iPhone by pressing the power button, the screen remains black. If I tap it again, the iphone then interprets it as "double tap" (even if there was a full 2 minutes elapsed between the first and second taps), and opens the Apple Pay app. On a whim, I monitored the phone during one of its unresponsive moments. I timed it, at 4 minutes out (and just before I was able to press the power button a second time), the screen finally turned on. Is this a common bug with iPhone X, or should I take mine back in? I don't have a screen protector covering the screen, and an Apple brand silicone case. This has happened with iOS versions 11.2.x and 11.3. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 04 Apr 2018 02:52 AM PDT iPhone Version: iPhone8 iOS Version: 11.1.1 Issue: After pressing "GET" on a new App in the app store my phone will show the spinning icon for about 4-5 minutes before asking for my password to sign into the apple store. I put the password in and press "BUY". It then asks me for my fingerprint to install, which I provide and it finally installs without a problem. What is causing the 5-minute delay between pressing "GET" and being asked for my password? I've had this problem since before Christmas and through multiple iOS updates. It's just my iPhone, as other iPhone on the same wifi network can download and install apps instantaneously. I get the same problem whether I'm on wifi or using 4G. Anyone had this issue before? It's so frustrating when wanting to get an app quickly as I know I have to wait for ages. [link] [comments]  |
