[Meta] Let's have a fireside chat, shall we? (Vol. 2) Posted: 04 Apr 2018 06:41 PM PDT Hi /r/jailbreak! Welcome to another fireside chat. We originally said that these fireside chats will happen every other month (like the banner contest), however, recent events made us do a volume two sooner. As such, this time around there isn't much to discuss and chat with the community like in Volume 1. What's happening?Recently, there has been a growing number of users who are mad at developers for their business tactics. Some users have taken /r/jailbreak as a platform to voice their concerns with constructive feedback/comments like we asked. However, we've also seen a growing number of users who are unhappy about this, and don't like to see /r/jailbreak as a platform for others to call developers/users out. This is where we turn to you, /r/jailbreak, to decide on what should be done on this case. Should posts calling users/developers out with constructive feedback be allowed on the sub? Please vote on this poll. We plan to publish the poll results and the new change (if applicable) by Saturday, so expect an update to this Fireside Chat by then. You also have the option to add another idea by using the "Other" option. Relationship between the moderators and developersSome users believe that special actions will be taken because one or several mods have a links to a project, or have a relationship with a developer/user. We do not give special treatment to anyone. Just because someone asks us to do something doesn't mean we do it. It is our stance that we moderate based on the rules and nothing more. If someone requests we do something, we discuss it as a team and decide whether to act on the request or not. While we prefer all contact to go through modmail, if anyone contacts us directly, we still discuss as a team. As with all matters which as moderators, we may have a special interest, we remove ourselves from moderating that content. An example of this is /u/LaughingQuoll not making any decisions related to Andy or his affiliated projects, or /u/exjr_ making any decisions on JailbreakHub posts back when it was an active project. We urge you guys that if you see any moderator possibly violating this, please send us a modmail message so we can review it and act upon it. We will still work on other things suggested in here, and in the Volume 1 posts. We wrote this quick update because we felt it was needed based on what's going on. If anyone has any suggestions, please let us know as we can't improve the subreddit without knowing what the community wants. Until the next time!

[Question] Is anybody still interested in having Palert updated for iOS 11? Posted: 04 Apr 2018 11:22 AM PDT I know there is someone who is apparently working on updating Palert (no ETA though), but like… do people still want it to be updated, or at least an alternative that does the same thing? Because if enough people want it then I can update it. I'm not a "God" at developing tweaks but with some time I can get it up and running again for iOS 11. Please lmk if you guys want it updated, and if enough people want it then I will for sure deliver! [link] [comments]

[Upcoming][Concept] LSLauncher - Launch your favorite apps from the Lock Screen! Posted: 04 Apr 2018 11:50 AM PDT LSLauncherI have been looking into this for quite sometime and I finally think I've found a start for this. Upcoming will be LSLauncher a new way to easily access your apps from the lockscreen. You will be able to setup to 5 icons on the Lockscreen from your settings. This will incorporate AppList and use the icon from your theme as well! There will be customization options for the toggle button as the one in the screenshot is just a mockup. No ETA on this so please don't ask but I don't think it will be that long. Hope you guys like this concept! Screenshots:I was a little to lazy to add icons but here is the mockup design: https://imgur.com/a/YkmnT Availability:This tweak will be released as a beta for free and then for $0.99 on final release. The beta will not include theming features so if you want to use this with minimal theming then you can use the Beta for free. However the paid version will include many more customization options :) The tweak will be available first on beta through our beta repo and then through our stable repo . [link] [comments]
[Question] Would anyone be interested in an update of AsphaleiaX to iOS 11? Posted: 04 Apr 2018 04:39 PM PDT Since there's been no word on an update and it is open source, i figured that i could start to work on it if there's a lot of interest. [link] [comments]
[Discussion] Lack of good iOS 11 tweaks? Posted: 04 Apr 2018 01:23 PM PDT Hey guys, just wanted to have a discussion and see what your thoughts were on the current state of available tweaks. I have only been around since the iOS 7 days, but it seems like the tweak support for iOS 11 is nowhere near what it used to be. Not only have we seen a bunch of good tweaks from the past disappear (biteSMS, Remote Messages), it also seems like devs are taking much longer to update their tweaks (by now most apps would have been updated already if this was back in the day) if they even have the intention to at all. I literally took as long as I could (due to 11.3 SEP) to update from my 9.3.3 jailbreak due to the lack of tweaks, but I did not want to miss out on the iOS 11 opportunity because of app support. But overall I am very disappointed and wanted to get your guys opinions and see if you guys had any thoughts on why this seems to be happening with iOS 11. Cheers. [link] [comments]

[Update] Bloby - Automatic blob saver for Windows Posted: 04 Apr 2018 07:31 AM PDT Bloby Beta 2.0 ReleasedWindows 7 > Windows 10 Compatible, Beta 2.0
What is Bloby?Bloby is a free program made for Windows, that automaticlly saves blobs for your iDevice. You don't have to think about saving blobs anymore, because Bloby does it for you: the whole proccess goes automatic.
What is new in Beta 2?
NOTEI recently got alot of messages from people saying that Bloby is a 'virus'. I want to say that this is a false positive. This is because of Bloby isn't signed and because of the update system Bloby uses. If you are scared, you can try to decompile Bloby yourself and check the code, but you really don't have to. Bloby is safe to use.
This also means that updating Bloby, can corrupt by your anti-virus. If this happens to you, I recommend you to redownload Bloby completely from the official thread. In my future programs I will redesign my whole update system.
For more information about Bloby and the download link: check out the official thread.Official thread: Click here!
Have fun with Bloby! -DumpDieDump [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Apr 2018 02:12 PM PDT So I'm sitting here playing with iconoclasm on my iPX and every time I change the layout or toggle it on and off my apps get thrown into a new page and it's a massive pain in the ass to undo it. Apparently in iOS 11, you can move as many apps at a time as you want (and folders or a mix of both) by just going into wiggle mode, holding one icon in place and tapping other ones to add them to a stack. You can move as many as you want at a time and they auto fill pages across your home screen when you let go. I feel so dumb realizing I wasted a solid 10 mins moving icons between pages lol. [Help] How to remove new plist after XenHTML install? Posted: 04 Apr 2018 10:06 PM PDT This new plist showed up on the preferences list in iCleaner after install. It's called com.applovin.sdk.y7Dm. Deleted Xen and dependencies but plist stays there. Cannot delete with Filza either. Seems to be a revenue service but I'm not sure, help would be appreciated. Thanks. [link] [comments]
