    Weapon Shop Fantasy

I was scrolling through the price drops on appshopper and found this game. Looks kind of cool!

I was wondering if anyone has played it before and what their thoughts are. I ended up buying it but haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

How well does Civ VI run on iPad Mini 4?

    Posted: 06 Apr 2018 06:26 AM PDT

Especially towards the end. I've tried the demo and it seems to be alright in the beginning, but I'm not sure about performance towards the end.

What PC games do you want to be ported next?

    Posted: 06 Apr 2018 12:50 AM PDT

Personally, I want GTA Online. I finished playing GTA SA a few weeks ago. It is one of the best offline game I've ever played. The only thing the game lacked was a multiplayer mode that would give you something to do after 100% completion. That's why I want GTA Online to be Rockstar's next PC-mobile port! Although, I highly doubt that will happen anytime soon/at all.

PUBG and Fortnite, two popular PC games of battle-royale genre, were released globally on iOS not too long ago. A few months ago, I didn't even know what these games were (I stopped playing PC games after high-school, and pretty much just stick to mobile gaming these days). But thanks to their mobile ports, I'm now a huge fan of these games (although Fortnite's controls does need some work). I never thought there would be a time where you would be able to play such high quality PC games on your phone! Now, I get excited whenever I hear news of a PC-mobile port that is coming our way!

So what PC games are you eagerly waiting for it to be ported to mobile?

Looking for a good JRPG Port

    Posted: 06 Apr 2018 09:44 AM PDT

Hey Reddit, so I am traveling tonight on a month long trip and was looking for a good JRPG port. I've played FFIV and liked it a lot. I do own FFT and wasn't the biggest fan. I was gonna get FFVII (got a desire to play it), but I see a lot of mix reviews (I'm more concern about its auto-save function and the fact if you shut the screen off it boots you out). After some reading I was thinking now of picking up DQ5. What's your opinion? I'm open to any suggestions, thank you!

Edit: I know FF9 just had a price drop, but I wasn't the biggest fan of its story

Any free IOS games similar to Endless Sky?

If you go to steam and look for endless sky, I want to find a game similar to that game, for free.

A good "loot" game to pass time and upgrade team/party/gear/w.e?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2018 05:09 PM PDT

Looking for a good multiplayer game that has a lot of loot or gear acquiring with an upgrade system. Like clash royale. I've been playing it for a year and already reaching the point where I got the card levels that I want and getting tired. Even though the game is releasing new cards on a regular basis, I am getting kinda bored of it and wanna try something new.

Maybe something mroe RPG-ish where I can just have one or a party of characters and acquire either new gear or party members where there some sort of upgrade system. And have multiplayer. I tried the fire emblem game but couldn't stick with it. Also tried both Tales of games and couldn't stay with those either.

Also wanna add that I prefer more slow pace games but Ill play any fast paced action games. I just want to be able to play in bursts and not have to play long sessions at a time.

One of these things is not like the other... (MFi gamepad)

Here are a few relatively recent game controllers. They are all very similar. The biggest difference being a small detail that drives me nuts...

WHY does the MFi spec not include L3/R3 buttons?!

I was really excited when apple finally released the MFi spec and a few controllers went up for sale. I've owned a couple steelseries controllers. I just can't wrap my head around why apple would define a controller spec that is 98% the same as all the modern gaming controllers, and leave out one little detail like L3/R3 buttons without some reason... so what is that reason? Surely they studied the other controllers on the market before defining the MFi controller spec? And they specifically decided, "Nah, we don't want those buttons..."?! It had to be a conscious decision on their end to leave it out.. so, why?!

I was blown away by the app Moonlight which allowed me to stream games from my gaming PC to my ipad. It worked so well, surprisingly well- playing full-fledged PC games like BattlefrontII or GTAV on my ipad anywhere in my home. But the lack of L3/R3 on the controller becomes really frustrating in this situation where these games expect you to have these buttons. Moonlight solves it with an on-screen button, but I'm still bothered by it..

I know there's probably no answer to this but it has always bugged me so I just wanted to vent. Surely I'm not the only one that is confused over the lack of L3/R3, when everything else about the controllers is almost the same as all the other modern ones out there.

    EDIT: Here's apple's controller spec, if you're interested: https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/ServicesDiscovery/Conceptual/GameControllerPG/Introduction/Introduction.html

    Portrait mode non-fantasy games?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2018 04:41 PM PDT

Not sure how to word this, but I'm looking for a portrait mode game that's not like a fantasy game. Like one that doesn't take place in a fantasy world, if that makes sense. What are the best games like this?

Cross platform game for small group

Looking for a good cross platform game with Android/google play for a group of 4 people. We would prefer something semi recent or that doesn't penalize you for being way behind. Semi-afk game would be preferable. We play MouseHunt as a group and we're looking for something else too.

    Sports management

Are there any games that have this feature? Or that's the point of the game?

I play nba 2k/madden on Xbox and my favorite thing is to take a franchise from scratch and build them up. So does anybody have a game like that for me? (Doesn't have to be 2K or madden) any sport works

Best Free Racing Game that's not RR3?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2018 07:00 PM PDT

I've gotten sick of RR3 and want to play a different free racing game. Preferably could be played offline and is still fun to play for someone who doesn't spend cash. Also before you say GRID I don't have the money to buy it yet.
