[Question] 11.4 Battery Life and Cell Performance

Since Apple mysteriously decided to use an older baseband firmware for the Qualcomm iPhone X & 8 on iOS 11.4 Beta 1. (Possibly all support iPhone Models on 11.4)

How has battery life and cell performance compared to 11.3 GM? Or is it similiar to 11.3 Beta 4?

**Baseband 1.87.01 iOS 11.4 Beta 1

Baseband 1.89.00 iOS 11.3 Beta 5 up to GM

**Baseband 1.87.01 iOS 11.3 Beta 4

It seems odd to roll back to and older firmware. They haven't done that since the iPhone X was released in any of its corresponding iOS versions. For both iPhone Models its been a steady increase in revisions yet this time around. They took a step back, X.X2.01 to be exact. After a quick glance it looks like theyve almost never done this before.

I wonder if they noticed some issues internally or if some customers had issues significant enough for them to go back and compile iOS on an older modem platform

[Bugs] 11.4 beta iMessage wont connect iPhone7

I send ALOT of messages for work. Was sending them and all the sudden they wouldn't send and I had to try and resend them. Then I noticed they were Imessaging but only with my email. I tried turning off iMessage, Turning off Facetime, Signing out of iCloud. Signed back in, turned them all back on. and it still wont work. Green messages only. iMessage couldn't connect, but I can send an iMessage from my Email. Did a restore. Even went back down to 11.3 still the same problem. I did have messages switched on in Icloud. but before I went down to 11.3 I tried turning it off, turning it back on. No luck.

Called Apple's tech support, was on the phone with them for an hour. Tried everything there. They said to call verizon to have my number reset.

Called Verizon had my number reset. Still doesn't work.

Idk if it was due to the Beta or the messages in Icloud. I'm not sure. But right now I'm stuck without iMessage

When i rotate my iphone while charging, over the ambient sensor. the screen goes black with a ding sounding. never noticed this before. kinda scary if you ask me lol.

Am I the only one that thinks the 11.3 GM is more buggy than 11.3 beta 6?

I have run into more problems with the GM than I did in beta 5 and especially beta 6.
